Kids exercising is a term that has many definitions and connotations. For some Kids Exercising Activity is structured well organised program that has a definitive start and end position. For others kids exercising is movement and can involve both structured and unstructured play.
Kids exercising should not be regimented and so structured that kids lose the creativity and variety that exercising should provide. Kids exercising needs to focus on the fun side of exercise and needs to be stimulating and challenging for the children.
Below I have outlined a number of kids exercising routines that could be incorporated quickly and easily for children

Dancing to music is a great way for kids to burn calories and have fun. Dancing uses lots of muscle groups

Playing dress up or role play is a fun and stimulating way for kids to exercise without even realising that they are burning calories

Participating in weekend sport is a great way for kids to interact and bond with other kids. Kid’s sports are structured activity and does have some degree of competition. If you feel that you are not competitive or want something a little lighter than maybe a social group might be a better option.

Games based play groups and activities use basic rules and structure for kids exercising routines. Games are a fun and stimulating way for kids to interact with others whilst burning calories.
