Sunday 25th June: After breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for a half day optional excursion to the Aushwitz-Birkenau museum site. We begin our day with a sober visit to two of the most infamous concentration camps of World War

II. A local guide will explain the cruelty of life under Nazi German occupancy and how thousands of Jews, resistance fighters and prisoners of war died here. In the afternoon you will return to Krakow for late lunch (extra). You may afterwards join the tour leader for a shopping spree in one of the biggest shopping galleries in Poland, the Galeria Krakowska located within walking distance of the hotel.

Saturday 8th July: Today, after breakfast, we offer you a marvellous optional day excursion to Florence. After a short familiarisation walk within the historic centre of Firenze, one may enjoy a multitude of buildings and work of arts of international importance. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracottatiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and the bell tower by Giotto. The Galleria dell’Accademia displays Michelangelo’s Davide sculpture, while the Uffizi Gallery exhibits Botticelli’s Birth of Venus and da Vinci’s Annunciation (extra entry fees may apply). You start the day early and travel towards Santa Maria Ligure, from where you will board yet another ferry to Portofino, a fishing village, southeast of Genoa. The pastel-coloured houses, high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants fringe its Piazetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbour, which is lined with super-yachts of the super-rich. In fact this gorgeous tiny fishing village turned to an upmarket resort, is a favourite hide out and most popular with Italian Celebrities. Return to your hotel for overnight. Friday 7th July: Today, after breakfast, we encourage you to join the tour leader for a full day excursion to Lucca and Pistoia. You start your day by visiting the town of Lucca. The city historical centre, hidden behind imposing Renaissance walls, with its cobbled streets, handsome piazzas and shady promenades make it a perfect starter for this wonderful holiday. After free time for lunch (extra) or personal sightseeing, you head to Pistoia. This town which has grown well beyond its medieval ramparts, sits snugly at the foot of the Apennines. Its historical

Thursday 6th July: Meet the tour leader at the Malta International Airport at 0530hrs for check in of your flight to Rome departing at 0735hrs. Upon arrival at 0900hrs, your private coach will pick you up to start this holiday with a free excursion to Orvieto. This city in southwestern Umbria, is one of the most striking, memorable and enjoyable hill towns in central Italy situated on the flat summit of a large chunk of tufo volcanic stone, overlooking cypress-dotted Umbrian plains. A visit here will reward you with a delightful, perfectly preserved and virtually traffic free world. Your coach will stop at the lower part of Orvieto, and the center of the historical walled city itself can be reached via a Funicular (extra). No visit of Orvieto is complete without a visit to its impressive Cathedral. The cathedral façade is a classic piece of religious construction, containing a large rose window, golden mosaics and three huge bronze doors. Wednesday 12th July: After breakfast, we encourage you, to join the tour leader on an interesting optional day excursion to the Tyrolean area. You shall first visit the famous Tratzberg Castle (entrance extra), built in the 1500’s to serve as a hunting castle for Emperor Maximilian. After such an interesting visit, you shall head to the nearby village of Wattens, to visit the world famous Swarovski Crystal World (entrance extra). Immerse yourself in this three dimensional museum experience, and relish such beauty

made out of crystals, light and sound. The Mega Swarovski shop is also a must, and an experience in itself. The group will then head to Innsbruck historic city centre for lunch (extra). Sunday 16th July: Today, after breakfast, we offer you a marvellous optional day excursion to Germany’s frontier village of Berchtesgaden. The highlight of the day, shall be the visit to the Eagles Nest complex: an infrastructural marvel (extra), built as a present to the German dictator, Adolph Hitler. Renovated after the end of World War II, this complex today houses, a pretty restaurant in the former tea house. (Should it be impossible due to the weather conditions on the day, you would visit the Salt Mines). Enjoy lunch, coffee or beer (extra) in this historic edifice, before making your way down to visit the nearby Lake Koenigsee. Lake Koenigsee, is Germany’s highest lake, framed with steep mountain walls, and an interesting artisan market. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Since the end of the Second World War, Brussels has been a major centre for international politics and has become the polyglot home of numerous international organisations, politicians and civil servants. Brussels is in fact the de facto capital of the European Union as it hosts a number of principal EU institutions. The Headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) are also located in Brussels. We shall pass by the Royal Palace and the modern EU headquarters. Then some free time for personal sightseeing or shopping from the Grand Place, Brussels’s most famous and beautiful square full with cafes, bars and flower stalls. Later you will continue your excursion with a visit to the Mini Europe (entrance extra). Sunday 16th July: After breakfast join our optional half day excursion to the city of Eindhoven. We will start by visiting the Van Abbemuseum (entrance extra). Established in 1936, the Abbemuseum is named after its founder, which was a lover of modern art. You shall than head to St. Catharine’s Church designed by the famous architect Pierre Cuypers, the architect of the Rijksmuseum and the Central Station in Amsterdam. In 1974 the city claimed ownership of the church to ensure that this National cultural Monument is preserved for future generations. There is a small exhibit of old bones, skeletons, jewellery, household and also detail of some

archaoegical finds that were dug recently. You will than head to the heart of the historic city where one can enjoy himself surrounded by numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. After lunch (extra), your coach will drop you at the DAF museum (entrance extra). A tour of the DAF Museum will take visitors from one surprise to the next and stroll around the museum to discover the many aspects of the DAF product. You will return to your hotel on foot (400 meters) to freshen up and prepare for the evening’s highlight of the tour – the grand performance by Andre Rieu. In the early evening, your coach will transfer you to the city of Maastricht for this unique performance together with the Johann Straus Orchestra, choir and soloists. Start your day by visiting Girona, a lovely small town which has managed to retain most of its medieval quarter. From the port of Leknes you might wish to join an onboard excursion and explore the land of the midnight sun - Lofoten. You’d be hardpressed to find a more picturesque villages as the natural surroundings are regarded to be among the most stunning in Norway. In Leknes, the sun (midnight sun) is above the horizon from May 26 to July 17 but in winter the sun does not rise from December 9 to January 4! Monday, 10 July Tromso After a hearty breakfast we suggest you visit the attractive island town of Tromso, which has some intriguing buildings both old and new, including an iceberg-shaped ‘Arctic Cathedral’. Tromso boasts stunning coastal views from Mt Storsteinen, reached by cable-car. The NCL Jade departs Tromso at 17:00hrs. Tuesday, 11 July Honningsvaag At 08:00hrs. this morning the ship shall arrive at Honningsvagg, which was completely destroyed during the Second World War, but rapidly rebuilt. Now this beautiful little fishing port, with distinctive pastel-shaded buildings, attracts tourists from all over the world. The gateway to the North Cape, usually considered to be the “top of Europe”, Honningsvag is framed by rugged mountains and the grey Arctic Ocean. Return to your ship in time for departure at 17:00hrs Wednesday, 12 July Cruising Day at sea. On such a ship there should never be a dull moment! Spend some time browsing around the shops before returning to the ship in time for departure at 18:00hrs. Friday, 14 July Bergen Your final port of call is Bergen, the second largest city in Norway. You have the opportunity to discover the so-called “City Between the Seven Mountains”. Soak up the atmosphere of Bryggen, the old Hanseatic merchants’ quarter. Comprising a maze of characteristic wooden buildings with pointed gables facing onto the harbour, the old Bryggen Hanseatic wharf is architecturally unique and is included on UNESCO’s list of world heritage of history and culture. Continue to the 12th Century Maria Church, the oldest building still existing in Bergen and one of the most outstanding Romanesque churches in the country. Tuesday, 11 July Skagen, Denmark Join the optional excursion to Skagen where the first sight will be Skagen Town – a sight not to be found anywhere else in Denmarm. Small picturesque Fisherman’s Houses all painted in warm yellow by the danes named ‘Skagen Yellow’ with red roofs and the characteristic white edges. Board the ‘Sandormen’ (Sandworm) tractor pulled bus that brings you to the uttermost point of Denmark and actually of European continent. Here you will see the seas of Skagerrak and Kattegat meet. Continue to the buried church – an old church buried in the sand, where only the upper two thirds of the tower is to be seen. Ship will depart at 1800hrs. Wednesday, 12 July Cruising Today shall be another day at sea and so another day to relax and unwind! As you continue your tour passing onto Mannerheim Street, the main thoroughfare of the city, you will see the Parliament House, National Museum and the Finlandia Hall. You head to the port where a private boat will be waiting to take you on a three hour journey around the Stavanger archipelago. As you enter the splendid Lysefjord, you will see one of the most spectacular sights in Norway - Prekestolen or the Preacher’s Pulpit, which stands 460 meters above sea level. As you return to Stavanger you will be amazed by the spectacular natural wonders and scenery. Tuesday, 22 August Bergen, Norway Your next port of call shall be Bergen, the second largest city of Norway. Today’s optional day excursion gives you the opportunity to discover the ‘City between the Seven Mountains’. You start a walking tour by visiting the famous Floibanen Funicular up Mount Floyen (included). This is one of Bergen’s major attractions. It was opened in

1918 with an altitude of around 300 meters, giving a magnificent bird’s view of the Port area and Bergen city. You continue the tour passing the Port area and the surrounding buildings. After stopping at the world famous Fish market, join the tour leader for a walk to Bryggen, the old Hanseatic merchant’s quarter, with its characteristic wooden houses. The ship shall depart from the port at 1800hrs. Wednesday, 23 August Alesund, Norway Today’s port of call shall be Alesund, one of Norway’s most picturesque and charming fishing ports. Today’s tour takes you to the Saga Islands of Giske and Godoy, connected to Alesund and the mainland by bridges and one of the longest sub-sea tunnel connections in the world. Visit the Roman marble church, Giske Chapel, dating back to 1135. It was once the influent Giske family chapel. To give you an insight into the multitude of life beneath the waves, you will visit the Atlantic Sea Park (incl entrance), one of the largest aquariums in Northern Europe and the largest in Scandinavia. On the return back to the ship you will visit the Mount Aksla view point.

Tuesday, 29 August Flam, Norway Today’s port of call will take you to a tiny village tucked inside Norway’s longest fjord, Flåm is known for its storybook setting and the thrilling railroad journey that showcases the surrounding splendors of mountains, waterfalls, calm lakes and bucoclic green valleys. You start your excursion by taking the famous Flam train to Myrdal where

you will have time for a short photo stop. You will continue your excursion by coach passing by beautiful scenery surrounding the steep mountain sides, waterfalls and deep valleys. Visit the Roman marble church, Giske Chapel, dating back to 1135. It was once the influent Giske family chapel. In the early 1900s, when gold was Alaska’s claim to fame, fishing and timber industries were established in Ketchikan. The growth of these industries helped make this Inside Passage port Alaska’s fourth-largest city. The Haida, Tlingit and Tsimshian are all a part of the city’s colorful history. Tuesday, 03 October Cruising This last full day prior to the end of our wonderful cruise shall be spent at sea. Relax and enjoy the facilities and entertainment onboard your ship. The ship’s animators shall also be organizing a number of activities on various decks and lounges, so it’s entirely up to you to participate! For those who prefer quiet moments should opt for a relaxing sauna. In the evening you will be instructed to leave your luggage outside your stateroom as bags are transported ashore by Celebrity personnel early next morning. Take a turn out on deck or enjoy one last slow dance under the canopy of stars and let the romance of the sea works its magic. Wednesday, 04 October Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan This cosmopolitan city blends the old and the new, and Japanese and western cultures. Within walking distance from the cruise terminal, there are shopping districts, high-end hotels and a renowned Chinatown. Especially, Minato Mirai 21 has lots of large shopping malls. The west side of Yokohama has all kinds of entertainment, music, fashion and of course electronic shops. Alternatively you may wish to enjoy some time at Sankeien Garden, the vast genuine Japanese garden with an area of 180,000 square metres. Thursday, 05 October Tokyo disembarkation & return Enjoy your last breakfast on board followed by disembarkation. Since your flight is in the evening we suggest you join the optional excursion to the city of Kamakura and get a taste of the beautiful landscapes and serene religious monuments outside. Enjoy this tour and gaze at the city’s Great Buddha and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu shrine. Explore individually or join a guided optional shore excursion as you experience the hustle and bustle of daily Vietnamese life in this dynamic city. You will also see over 1,000 additional images of Buddha, mostly from the ruins of the former capitals of Ayutthaya and Sukhothai. You’ll also find multi-ethnic culture, great cuisine and attractions that include modern malls, traditional shops, colonial buildings and historic temples. Thian Hock Keng, the “Temple of Heavenly Bliss,” is one of the oldest Chinese temples in Singapore. What was originally a makeshift altar became a full-blown temple in 1841, and it still shines today with red and black lacquer and gold gilt. The shrine honors Ma Po Cho, the Patron Goddess of Sailors, but it also gives a shout out to the Protector of Life, the God of War, the Goddess of Mercy and the Sun and Moon Gods through intricate carvings and statues. Sunday, 12 November Singapore & disembarkation Enjoy our last breakfast on board the Celebrity Millennium as your cruise holiday comes to an end, and wait until called to disembark. We then offer you an optionalal city tour whereby you shall explore the city by driving round the Civic District, passing by Padang, the Cricket Club, the historic Parliament House, the Supreme Court and City Hall. Proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanical Gardens, which boasts a sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants.
