Sunday, 02 July Malta – Berlin & Overnight Check in at 08:30hrs at Malta International Airport for Air Malta flight departing at 10:30hrs arriving in Berlin Tegel Airport at 13:25hrs. Upon arrival at Berlin airport, you shall be met by our representative who will accompany you for your private transfer to a tourist class hotel for check-in. In the afternoon you may explore the German capital, renowned for its exceptional variety of attractions, its flourishing cultural scene and a way of life that is both fast-paced and relaxed. Monday, 03July Berlin Day at leisure. Berlin is a city of art, artists and museums. Contrasts between historical buildings and modern architecture, between the traditional and the modern are what set the city apart from the rest. The sights of Berlin – from Bradenburg Gate to the Federal Chancellery – tell the story of an entire nation. Germany’s capital is home to all the major government buildings, most notably the historic Reichstag, seat of the German parliament. Pier, you will hand over your luggage to the porters and start check in formalities. Your adventure begins as soon as you embark on the 93,000-ton Norwegian Jade by NCL. The facilities on board are numerous. The ship itself is a great experience, the perfect blend of world-class amenities, advanced technology and classic style. Just refurbished in 2016, she radiates the elegance and ambience one would find in a grand hotel. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable 13-day cruise to the North Cape as the ship leaves port at 17:00hrs Wednesday, 05 July Cruising Fun day at sea enjoying the ship’s facilities including 17 delicious dining options, 15 bars and lounges, a spacious spa, an alwaysexciting casino, plus tons of fun for kids of every age. Lavish theatre shows, a state-ofthe-art fitness centre, a sports court, bars and lounges of all kinds, pools, hot tubs, kid’s centres, teen discos and more are all on board and included in your cruise fare. Thursday, 06 July Geiranger & Hellesylt After an early breakfast we suggest you head to an outside deck to enjoy the incredible views as you sail through the fjords, including the magnificent Geiranger fjord, considered by many to be the most beautiful in Norway with towering steep mountainsides and numerous waterfalls. The NCL Jade anchors at Geiranger between
07:00 and 15:00 and we suggest you explore the small village or you may wish to join an on-board excursion. The ship set sails from Geiranger passing Hellesylt, a beautiful tiny ferry port which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Hellesylt waterfall and the cliffs that plunge into Horindalsvannet, Europe’s deepest lake (nearly 2,000 feet) are just some of the stunning sights that lie in store! Friday, 07 July Trondheim Today the ship berths in the Norwegian city of Trondheim. Visit the main attractions such as Nidarosdomen Cathedral. The construction of this cathedral was initiated in 1070 and there is still restoration going on today. Adjacent to the cathedral you will also find the Archbishop’s Palace Museum and Norwegian Crown Regalia. You may wish to take a trip to the nearby islet of Munkholmen on the Trondheim Fjord. Be back on board in time since the ship departs at 18:00hrs Saturday, 08 July Cruising (Artic Circle) A relaxing day spent crossing the Arctic Circle. The top of our planet features the other worldly beauty of glaciers, vivid skies and unique wildlife, like the porpoises that race ships through these arctic waters. And nothing quite compares to relaxing on deck as you sip hot cappuccino and experience the phenomenal night skies of the Northern Lights!
02 - 16 JulY Sunday, 09 July Leknes (Norway) Today’s port of call shall be Leknes, from where we suggest you explore the port of Leknes (by tender). From the port of Leknes you might wish to join an onboard excursion and explore the land of the midnight sun - Lofoten. You’d be hardpressed to find a more picturesque villages as the natural surroundings are regarded to be among the most stunning in Norway. In Leknes, the sun (midnight sun) is above the horizon from May 26 to July 17 but in winter the sun does not rise from December 9 to January 4! Monday, 10 July Tromso After a hearty breakfast we suggest you visit the attractive island town of Tromso, which has some intriguing buildings both old and new, including an iceberg-shaped ‘Arctic Cathedral’. Sunday, 30 July Ketchikan – Alaska Ketchikan is known as Alaska’s “First City” because it’s the first major community travelers come to as they journey north. Located on an island, Ketchikan began life as an Indian fishing camp. The name Ketchikan comes from a Tlingit phrase that means “eagle with spread-out wings,” a reference to a waterfall near town. In the early 1900s, when gold was Alaska’s claim to fame, fishing and timber industries were established in Ketchikan. The growth of these industries helped make this Inside Passage port Alaska’s fourth-largest city. The Haida, Tlingit and Tsimshian are all a part of the city’s colorful history. It is not uncommon to spot a humpback or an orca while walking along the shore. Hong Kong, Vietnam & Singapore
on board the Celebrity Millennium
Friday, 03 November Hue/Danang (Chan May), Vietnam Set on the Perfume River, the former imperial city of Hue is tranquil and filled with history and heritage. Chan May is a gateway to other cities of central Vietnam, including Danang, whose long white sands were dubbed China Beach. Within the city is the Imperial Citadel, home of the Emperor. This sprawling complex of temples, pavilions, walls, museums and galleries is the centerpiece of Hue. It is here where you can truly appreciate the history and charm of Vietnam’s past, its tranquility and beauty. Ship will set sail at 1900hrs. Saturday, 04 November Cruising Day At Sea. On such a ship there should never be a dull moment! On Celebrity you are sure to enjoy every moment. Even by just strolling around the decks it’s an exciting activity. Obviously, you should try the numerous delicious buffets on offer throughout the day as you sail towards Ho Chi Minh.
Saturday, 28 October Flight Malta - Dubai Meet at Malta International Airport at 1430hrs to check-in for your Emirates flight EK110 departing at 1530hrs and arriving at 0100hrs with a brief technical stop. Sunday, 29 October Flight to Hong Kong & embarkation Proceed to your next gate to embark on flight EK382 departing at 0315hrs and arriving at Hong Kong International Airport at 1430hrs. Upon arrival your coach shall transfer you to the cruise port for embarkation on the Millennium by Celebrity. After your staterooms have been assigned, enjoy a snack on board, followed by a tour around the ship so as to familiarize yourselves with the various decks and lounges. Evening performances of West-end style shows and entertainment are offered daily after dinner. Monday, 30 October Hong Kong Enjoy your first breakfast onboard. The most striking thing about Hong Kong is its pervasive mix of old and new. With ramshackle apartment buildings flanked by uber-modern high-rises, a rickety streetlevel tram clanking by above a state-ofthe-art subway system, and wheelbarrows being pushed through the streets alongside Rolls-Royces, Hong Kong is a study in contrasts that constantly surprises. Add the former British colony’s strange brew of Asian and Western cultures to this endless series of odd contradictions and one thing’s for certain: this is a place you’ll never get tired of. Your ship will set sail at 2000hrs.
