Mein Schiff 5 Built at Meyer in Turku, the Mein Schiff 5 will be christened on the 5th July 2016 in Travemuende, Germany. The ship is 295 metres long, 36 metres wide and has a gross tonnage of 100,000 and sails under the Maltese flag. It has 15 decks and a crew of 1000 deriving from over 50 different countries. The official language on-board is German (for further details on this point please ask our staff). There are 1267 passenger cabins, 13 bars and lounges, 13 restaurants and bistros and an outdoor area of almost 18,000m2

Sail on the Brand New Mein Schiff 5 from Mallorca to Malta Special Date: 24 April - 30 April 2017 Visiting: Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Toulon & Monaco MONDAY, 24 APRIL: Meet at Malta International Airport and check-in for your flight to Palma de Mallorca (flight details will be available at the beginning of August). On arrival in Palma de Mallorca we transfer to the port and check-in on the Mein Schiff 5. The safety drill (compulsory) will be held before the ships sails out of Palma at 21.00 hrs. TUESDAY, 25 APRIL: Day at Sea/Barcelona Spend the day exploring this wonderful cruise liner, enjoy the meals and allinclusive drinks at one of the many bars and restaurants. At 19.00 hours the ship will berth in Barcelona and tonight you will have a wonderful panoramic tour of Barcelona by night departing at 20.30 hours and return to the ship at 23.30 hours. On this tour we will show you some of the most famous squares and fountains in Barcelona beautifully illuminated by night. WEDNESDAY, 26 APRIL: BARCELONA The ship will remain in Barcelona until 18.00hrs and you have a full day to explore the city on your own. Soak up the lively atmosphere, shops and street- theatres along the vibrant Las Ramblas. Pay a visit to the extraordinary UNESCO-World Heritage-listed La Sagrada Familia church designed by the late, great architect Gaudi, perhaps meander around the medieval alleys of the Gothic Quarter and do some shopping. These are just a sprinkling of the many things you can see and do in Barcelona. Be back on the ship at 17.00hrs and be on the top deck when the ship sails out of the port and enjoy a last glimpse of Barcelona. THURSDAY, 27 APRIL: La Seyne The ship will berth at 08:00hrs at the port of La Seyne close to Toulon. In the morning, the bus will drive to the charming medieval village of Bormes-lesMimosas. The village has a beautiful 16th-century church, the Chapelle SaintFrançois-de-Paule at the Place de la Liberté. A statue commemorates the beneficent deeds of Saint Francis of Paula during the plague of 1481. Also of interest is the Tour de l’Horloge clock tower and the Church of Saint-Trophime.

Bormes-les-Mimosas is also famous for its flowers, especially the fragrant mimosa blossoms that flourish throughout the village. We return to our ship in time for lunch. In the afternoon you are free to visit the city of Toulon which has one of the prettiest harbours in France, filled with small fishing boats and fashionable yachts. Along the picturesque port, palm-fringed waterfront sidewalks are lined with boutiques and the terraces of bustling brasseries. The ship sets sail from La Seyne at 19.00hrs. FRIDAY, 28 APRIL: MONACO/MONTE CARLO Upon arrival at the Principality of Monaco disembark by tender. Once you are on the bus, our local guides will point out to you, the homes of the rich and famous living along the coast leading to the dazzling city of Nice which enjoys a privileged setting on the hill-framed curve of the Baie de Anges. On our panoramic city tour we drive along the Promenade de Anglais and busy shopping Via Gambretta. Off to Monaco where you can join the guide for a walking tour. By escalators you can reach the historic Old Town and enjoy the must-see landmarks including the cathedral, the exteriors of the Prince’s Palace with the guards and the Aquarium. From the bastions you have a birds-eye view over Monaco/Monte Carlo and for the F1 enthusiasts it is easy to recognise the streets where the Grand Prix of Monaco takes place every year. (The visit to Monaco depends on weather conditions and in case the tenders cannot operate due to high seas, no refund nor any compensation can be given as this is beyond our control). You can return to the ship any time you wish as the tender boats shuttle from/to the ship on a regular basis throughout the day. The ship departs at 19.00hrs from Monaco. SATURDAY, 29 april: DAY AT SEA Enjoy another relaxing day at sea. Book a massage, enjoy a cocktail at your favourite bar and sample some of the finest food on this marvellous ship. SUNDAY, 30 april: After breakfast we disembark in Valletta by latest 10.00hrs and all cabins must be vacated by 09.00hrs the latest.

Sail on the Brand New Mein Schiff 5 from Malta to Antalya Special Date: 30 April - 07 May 2017 Visiting: Athens, Kusadasi, Santorini, Marmaris & Antalya SUNDAY, 30 APRIL: Check-in starts at 11.30 a.m. at the Valletta port. Your cabin will be ready by latest 15.00 hours but you can have lunch and drinks from the moment you board the ship. A brief welcome meeting shall be held in the evening at the conference room. The safety drill (compulsory) will be held before the ships sails out of Valletta harbour at 22.00 hours. MONDAY, 01 May (Public Holiday in Malta): day at sea. Spend the day exploring this wonderful cruiseliner, enjoy the meals and allinclusive drinks at one of the many bars and restaurants. TUESDAY, 02 MAY: PIRAEUS (ATHENS): The ship will arrive in Piraeus in the early hours. After breakfast you will go on a half day excursion and have a panoramic city tour of Athens. You will see Syntagma Square, The Parliament, the old Olympic stadium and the Plaka district where you will be given some free time. We shall also take you to a good view point of the Acropolis from a nearby hill. We return to the ship in time for lunch. The afternoon is free to explore Piraeus. WEDNESDAY, 03 MAY KUSADASI: The ship will berth at 08:00hrs at the port of Kusadasi. The bus will pick you up from the port and take you to the upper gate of Ephesus, one of the most important Roman cities in the ancient world. We stop at the Upper entrance gate (entrance fee not included) and you can follow the guide and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Roman Imperial period including the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre. Those not wishing to enter the site will be given free time for souvenir shopping. We return to the ship in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for shopping in Kusadasi, truly a shopper’s paradise.

THURSDAY, 04 MAY: SANTORINI: After arrival in Santorini you will disembark by tender boats and you will go on a half day island tour. Santorini is famous for its white and blue houses and the spectacular view of the caldera. You will visit picturesque Oia village and then continue to the main town of Fira. Here you have free time and can then return on your own by tender boat to the Mein Schiff. From Fira there are 2 ways to get to the harbour, either with the cable car (not incl. – there might be long queues) or on foot walking along the serpentine way to the port from where the tender boat depart. FRIDAY, 05 MAY: MARMARIS: Today we have a city tour of Marmaris and İçmeler which are both situated inside the Marmaris National Park. We drive along the yacht harbour, pass the Marna fortress and the amphitheatre before we drive along the coast road to İçmeler. Here we have a photo stop above the Aegean with a wonderful view overlooking the bay and İçmeler. We then have a short break at the beautiful beach of İçmeler before we return to Marmaris to visit the Old market on Marmaris. We return to the Mein Schiff 5 in time for lunch. The afternoon is free for shopping in Marmaris another shopper’s heaven. SATURDAY, 06 MAY: DAY AT SEA: Enjoy another relaxing day at sea. Book a massage, enjoy a cocktail at your favourite bar and enjoy some of the finest food on this marvellous ship. SUNDAY, 07 MAY: After breakfast we disembark and after a city tour of Antalya you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Malta. (Details of you flight will be given to you as soon as available).
