UPGRADE 15.4 IS THE LATEST WAY TO EXTEND THE CAPABILITIES OF YOUR GARAGE With every software upgrade our coverage extends even further, allowing you to work on more vehicles, systems and engines than ever before. This latest upgrade has seen our coverage grow in all directions, adding new vehicles and systems, but also back filling content on older vehicles. As well as extending the vehicles and systems we cover, we have updated our Auto ID capabilities and added Suzuki to our Auto ID function, bringing the number of manufacturers that can be accessed this way to 19. The ‘code scan’ and ‘clear all functions’ have been brought up to date and now extend to 2014 models. All helping to make your job quicker and simpler than ever before.

COMPONENT TEST METER
Every release of software from Snap-on includes a huge wealth of information that grows at an enormous rate every release. This release alone includes 88 new engines and 68,000 new codes, ensuring the continued work on vehicles coming through your garages everyday and keeping your scantool up to date with the latest and best information.
CTM coverage has been extended further with new Nissan and Mazda coverage being added, bringing the content right up to 2015. Coverage includes ABS control module information, inclusive of tests. Plus speed sensor and brake pedal component information and tests. There are now 35,677 tests in CTM alone. An integral part of our CTM content is the ‘New Technology Classes’. These help guide you through some of the more difficult subjects in automotive diagnostics.

Functional tests are an essential part of Snap-on’s software that help you to methodically diagnose and identify what the faults are, and also assist you in fixing the vehicle. In our new software we’ve got over 2000 new functional tests to give you practical help in the garage every single day. Functional tests are split into 2 types – Actuator Tests and Special Functions.

Actuator Tests are where we can start to work out what the problem is and Special Functions allow you to programme a new item to a vehicle. There are over 2000 new special functions and actuator tests in 15.4. We have extended our capabilities in diesel injector coding with new additions for Honda, Hyundai, PSA and Suzuki. And we now have coverage for rear brake adjustment for Ford B-Max, C-Max, Fiesta and Focus. We’ve also added immobiliser key programming to Honda and the ‘Active Hood System’ has been added to Kia. Plus there is seat occupancy sensor and adaptive front lighting calibration tests for Mazda.
