For 2016-2017, Rogers Sportsnet has renewed their enthusiasm for Ski Television with additional plays and preferred time slots. The magazine show will continue to provide top-notch ski destination programming.

S-MAGAZINE PRINT: 245,000 READERS PER ISSUE S-MAGAZINE DIGITAL: 76,433 DIGITAL IMPRESSIONS The print edition of S-Magazine Annual will published in November, 2016 with a distribution of 60,000 copies that includes direct distribution to our subscriber base, 40,000 Globe and Mail subscribers, 2,000 newsstand locations across Canada and 35,000 readers through Air Canada Lounges. Locations include all Canadian airport lounges, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London and Frankfurt. The digital edition of S-Magazine is Canada’s first magazine to fully integrate digital along with professionally produced video content for a richer and more interactive experience. Additionally, S-Magazine feature articles were distributed to S-Media’s 22,000+ digital database, along with bonus circulation. In 2016-2017, S-Magazine will continue to focus on aspirational snowsports lifestyle.

SOCIAL MEDIA S-Media’s social media reach increases each season and saw huge growth in our Facebook user engagement totals up this year by 201% year over year. The 2015-16 season saw the launch of new platforms that engaged with viewers and followers. S-Media followers got behind the scenes insights from the S-Media TV hosts, star athletes and the photographers and producers. YouTube continues to be our strongest channel with continued growth year over year and this year was no different which resulted in a total of 25,000 hours of video Ski Television video content being consumed.

The goal of the Canadian Ski Council is to increase participation in recreational snowboarding, alpine and cross-country skiing in Canada.
