Rainbow RGV Community Partners
is a 501 c3 nonprofit operated by community volunteers in partnership with Child Protective Services to protect and assist children and their families.
Rainbow Rooms, Raindrop Room and Hero’s Closet are on-site emergency resource centers designed to provide CPS caseworkers with emergency supplies for the children and families they serve. It distributes new items such as shoes, clothing, formula, hygiene products and school supplies to children who have been rescued or removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse. Rainbow Rooms were designed to provide these necessities to those children in need. Donations from the community keep the room stocked with needed items for the children--100% of all donations go directly to the needs of the children and families served. The donations received from the community help replenish the room with needed items. In Region 11 (nineteen counties making up South Texas), the Rainbow Rooms serve an average of 100 children per month.

Rainbow RGV Community Partners sponsors the Rainbow Rooms located in McAllen, Edinburg, Weslaco, Harlingen, and Brownsville. Rainbow RGV Community Partners is a non-profit organization operated by volunteers whose mission is to form a partnership with Child Protective Services and the community.
