CHIEF DOMINGUEZ RETIRES AFTER 35 YEARS WITH MISSION POLICE DEPARTMENT

The City of Mission celebrated retiring Chief of Police Robert Dominguez with a luncheon at the Mission Event Center on April 30, exactly 35 years (to the day) from when he started his career with the Mission Police Department. The retirement ceremony included accolades from local law enforcement leaders, lawmakers, and federal partners. Chief Dominguez began his career in law enforcement in 1987 as a patrol officer, advanced through the ranks, and was named Chief of Police in 2013.
