On Thursday, March 10, the 18th Annual State of Real Estate Forum welcomed over 350 guests to the McAllen Convention Center while others watched via live stream. Presentations were made by Dr. Ted C. Jones, Ph.D., national economist and Sr. Vice President with national title insurance underwriter, Stewart Title, and Pedro Alvarez, Pharr District Engineer with the Texas Department of Transportation.

Our Teachers don’t just educate our children, they act as protectors, counselors, friends, and help instill the values of a good citizen in every child they teach. Unfortunately, teachers have been shortchanged for years. I will advocate for teacher pay raises, and the benefits they deserve!
Unity
Communication is the key to solving problems. Over a career that spans over 30 years, the most important skill a public servant can have is being able to reach fair resolutions between people who don’t agree. Victor is committed to unifying our community and proactively navigate through important issues.
Accountability
A public servant is beholden to the public they serve. This is a principle that Victor has practiced in every public office he has ever held. Victor will continue to be accessible to the public in the best and the worst of times.
Transparency
Transparency can only be achieved with the three O’s. Open Door, Open Mind, Open Books. Not only does the public deserve to know how every penny is spent, how policies are implemented, but also to have a say in the decisionmaking process. Together we can shape the Texas Education System into an environment where all can prosper.
