PHARR CASINO NIGHT FUNDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL STUDENTS

PHARR Photography by Tiffany Miranda On April 6, the Pharr EDC Foundation held its first fundraising event of 2022: “Roll the Dice” Casino Night at Regency Hall in Pharr. Proceeds from Casino Night go to the Pharr EDC Foundation’s Scholarship Program, which provides financial support to students within the Pharr community as a way of investing in the future workforce. In 2021, its first year as a nonprofit, this program provided more than 120 scholarships to students.

PHARR Photography provided by Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce On April 7, The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce honored Cano Logistics, LLC with a Member Spotlight Mixer at the Cano headquarters in Pharr. To celebrate Cano’s expansion, GMCC invited its members to this networking opportunity. Cano started out as a humble trucking company and has grown into an international logistics hub.

We are grateful for the support of our sponsors, business partners, and community who have been integral supporters of our Pharr EDC Foundation. They have helped us benefiting our Pharr students.
