Psychedelic colors and disco balls transformed the McAllen Convention Center into an ExtrABBAganza-themed evening at this year’s 15th Annual Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association’s “Dancing with the Stars” of Hidalgo County. Sally Faustro Guerra was honored as the Diabetes Hero of the Year. Winning the competition was 3rd place celebrity Maritza R. Luebbers and her partner, Eduardo Alfaro; 2nd place went to Dr. Tommy Gonzalez and his partner Madeline Luaces and 1st place went to Ranjit Lidhar and his partner Tanya Swayze Miller.
