LOS MUERTOS BAILAN BLOCKPARTY OPENS NEW EDINBURG AMPHITHEATER

On Friday, October 21st, the city of Edinburg cut the ribbon to officially open the new Promenade Park Amphitheater and Water Garden, located at 201 W McIntyre Street. The new amphitheater is the first of several downtown revitalization projects meant to foster the local art and entertainment community. The following day, the city of Edinburg, Area956, and the South Texas Museum of History partnered to host the largest ‘Day of the Dead’ celebration in the region. Thousands attended the ‘Los Muertos Bailan Black Party’ in downtown Edinburg to celebrate art, culture, and the beauty of life and honor the memory of loved ones lost.
