Struttin’ the Runway

Photography by Jose Tello Debi Lou Modeling Academy held its annual Mercedes Benz Fashion Show on November 10, 2022, at the Mercedes Benz Dealership of San Juan. Over 50 models modeled designs from Up Cycled Artist Carlos Villarreal, backdoor modern vintage, Leona style, By Maxwell, Glitz&Glamour, and Mila Hoffman Couture. Celebrity/community leader models included Karla Salinas, Marcy Martinez, Dr. Barbara Baggerly Hinojosa, Ginger Garza, Dr. Winona Moczygemba, Dr. Gloria Mireles, Sandra Mercado, Raquel Ponce, and Sally Fraustro Guerra. Money raised from the silent auction and 20% of the sales from By Maxwell Permanent Jewelry benefited CASA. Sponsors included SOCIALIFE magazine, Mercedes Benz of San Juan, Super party letters, and Rentals. Photographers included Rojelio Salazar Photography, Prescillas Photography, and Pita Rodriguez Photography.
