CITY HALL UPDATE

In the spirit of giving, the City of Mission celebrated December with a series of events that brought the community together. One of the initiatives was the “Operation Christmas: Adopt a Grandparent,” aimed at spreading joy to local nursing homes. The overwhelming response from the community, with over 600 generous donations, allowed the city to assemble special care packages for the elderly, ensuring they felt cherished during the holiday season.

Another remarkable event was the Mission Police Department’s “Kops for Kids Toy Drive.” This initiative not only brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of children but also created a festive atmosphere at the Mission Event Center. These events underscore Mission’s dedication to prioritizing its residents’ well-being and quality of life, exemplifying the true spirit of community engagement.
