Lions Jean and Jack Stewart introduced Makenna Lowe at our August general meeting. Makenna a thirteen-year-old home school student was able to attend camp with her friend who has gone for the last couple of years. Makenna said that she has made some amazing lifelong friends. She learned more about diabetes and better understood herself. Some of the highlights were the paddleboats and rock climbing. Makenna said she was so glad to have been able to go and was sorry she had not gone sooner. We invited her to fill out the form for next year when it is available and we would sponsor her again.
