This Haveli had it all that made the difference. The basic principle followed here while ornamenting the haveli was ‘To Ornament Construction And Never To Construct The Ornament.’ This prominent characteristic is perhaps the continuity and plentitude of the ornamentation which usually fills up the surface to be decorated with things almost replicating its nature.

The space division of the haveli is done in such a way that the upper floor obstructs the heat from penetrating the lower floors. Hence the lower space remained cooler even during hot noon whereas the upper floors are cooler at night in winter and monsoon.
