DNV Modini is a seasoned senior consultant in the renewable energy industry with a focus on energy storage services for the APAC region. With an impressive background in Chemical Engineering (M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur and B.Tech from NIT Warangal), Modini has successfully transitioned from the coal industry to renewable energy, showcasing her adaptability and perseverance. She has nine years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Her expertise lies in Owner's and Lender's Engineering Services for Storage projects across multiple countries, including Australia, Singapore, Japan and India. She has recently commissioned Singapore’s first large utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System of 285MWh capacity. Despite the challenges of being the only woman for inspections on site with inadequate facilities, Modini continues to excel in her field with her immense knowledge and attention to detail. She has also volunteered as Mentor in the GWNET and ESMAP’s Women in Energy Storage (WES) Mentoring Program 2022-23.

Tata Power Solar Systems Limited Vallisaranya Guruprasad is heading the critical Pre-Bid Engineering Team at Tata Power Solar System Ltd. Being an Electrical & Electronics engineering professional, Vallisaranya has more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. At present, Vallisaranya plays a vital role in designing the system with proper protection, safety, and cost under control. She has extensively worked on product development based on solar industry requirements and cost optimization for projects. Vallisaranya worked with Schneider Electric for designing the substations & traveled extensively across the Globe to understand the subject related to numerical relay fault analysis. Prior to Tata Power Solar, she worked with L&T's solar division for five years. In L&T, she was a key team member in commissioning 14 ground mount projects in 2011–2012 and many projects at GETCO Charanka solar park, Sun Edison projects in Tamil Nadu, etc. Vallisaranya started her professional journey as a GETs at Cethar Vessels Ltd. It is a manufacturer of boilers and an EPC service provider for waste heat recovery boilers and thermal coal power plants. She assisted the team at Cethar Vessels Ltd. in commissioning projects for Shree Cement using diverse technologies, including CFBC boilers and waste heat recovery boilers, in various capacities throughout their facilities. Vallisaranya completed her coveted Emerging Leader’s Program Conducted by Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC) and XLRI. She has received accolades for the various papers she published including "Transformer rating for solar PV plants based on overload capability as per guidelines" conference paper in IEEE R10 HTC Engineering: a sustainable future for humanity. Anjali Garg Climate Finance Specialist

IFC - International Finance Corporation Anjali is a Climate Finance Specialist with the Financial Institutions Group of the International Finance Corporation based in India. In this role, she works with the private sector to identify opportunities to scale-up climate finance and increase the capability of financial institutions to take advantage of the green investment business opportunity. In her 22+ years of experience in the energy sector, she has focused on rural energy access, regulatory and policy interventions, pricing and mainstreaming gender in energy access. Prior to joining the IFC, she worked at the World Bank and TERI. Anjali is a Gold Medalist Postgraduate scholar from the University of Delhi in 2001.She was also awarded the British Chevening Scholarship at London School of Economics and Political Science in 2007 and is an alumnus of the International Visitors Leadership Programme, Government for USA.
