Water Show: Fans are sure to enjoy this spectacular display of water stunts — a first for many who have never experienced this kind of water-based entertainment. Super Bowl LIVE will include a personal watercraft stunt and freestyle show that features a wild array of aerial tricks and dizzying backflips with Jet Skis, flyboards and water jet packs. Stunts will include jet pack performers completing tricks up
Huddle Down Community Stage: In an effort to LIVE IT MIAMI, this stage will feature a wide array of local talent showcasing the culture and diversity of our community. Bands, specialty musicians, dance teams and visual art performances will be showcased daily. Schools and youth performers, along with professional groups will be showcased. The Huddle Down stage will be programmed each day of LIVE, and the hours will mirror overall hours from opening to closing. Amphitheater Stage: Friday and Saturday night concerts at this stage will feature national entertainers, including 2012 Haitian Artist of the Year J. Road to the 11th: Super Bowl LIVE will feature an oversized AstroTurf football field as a grand entry thoroughfare into LIVE, showcasing the Road to the 11th displaying the past 10 Super Bowls hosted in Miami.

Wynwood on the Water: We are bringing Wynwood — one of Miami’s hottest neighborhoods — to Super Bowl LIVE. This is an art-meetsfootball project. Artist Risk will debut his mural to showcase Super Bowl LIV for fans to view. This project is curated by Host Committee Co-Chair Jessica Goldman Srebnick. Environmental Village: Miami is situated among diverse natural beauty.
Tailgate Town featuring the Culinary Stage: Nothing screams “fan experience” like the sounds and smells of an authentic tailgate. This epic pre-game party with celebrity chefs, tailgating concessions, decorative seating, games and competition comes together at Super Bowl LIVE to create a family friendly experience. Who doesn’t have a favorite tailgating dish? On the Super Bowl LIVE Culinary Stage located in Tailgate Town, local and national celebrity chef’s alongside NFL talent will take part in daily cooking demonstrations. Watch as these icons dish on all their secrets to great tailgating recipes that will last long after the game is over. The Culinary Stage will be programmed Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday and, again, Saturday of LIVE.

We invite you to explore Environmental Village and learn about our ocean and the Everglades. #NFL100LIVE: Fans will share their own congratulatory messages or cherished memories of the past via social media posts displayed on our 34-foot LED Social Media Wall. Super Bowl LIVE Evening Parades: Featuring over 100 performers on Friday and Saturday night, Super Bowl LIVE will become Main Street for a parade like you’ve never seen before. Two nights of this showstopping dance party will have you feeling all the rhythm Miami has to offer. Miami’s Caribbean Carnival will feature Junkanoos with incredible oversized costumes from our Caribbean community, catchy soca beats and steel drums. Miami’s Latin Parade will feature Brazilian samba dancers and rhythm beaters, or batucada, acrobatic capoeira dancers, and the vibrant costumes and rhythms of Cuba, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina. These parades will celebrate Miami’s diversity and the NFL’s 100th anniversary. Fireworks Extravaganza: On Friday and Saturday, following the parade and concerts, Biscayne Bay will light up in a spectacular fireworks show illuminating the sky above the bay.

Fans can attend Super Bowl Opening Night to be there as Super Bowl Players and Coaches Make Their First Public Appearance during Super Bowl Week Super Bowl LIV will kick off in Miami at Marlins Park as the venue transforms into a primetime showcase of Super Bowl teams at Super Bowl Opening Night Presented by Bolt24 on Monday, January 27, 2020. Tickets are now on sale, fans may purchase tickets at NFL.com/ SuperBowlOpeningNight to be there to help welcome Super Bowl teams to town and get exclusive access to this special media session. At Super Bowl Opening Night, thousands of media will interview the Super Bowl players and coaches for the first time during their only public appearance in Miami before taking the field for Super Bowl LIV. Opening Night is the only time the two teams will be together in one location prior to the big game. Super Bowl Opening Night will also feature live entertainment, special appearances and autographs by NFL players and Legends, team mascots, as well as fan photo opportunities and the chance to see Super Bowl players and coaches up close and listen to players answer media’s questions via free radios distributed throughout the venue. SO FLY Miami International Airport welcomes all visitors with a recently completed fourth runway and new North and South Terminals. The additional 7.5 million square feet of expanded terminal space includes 130 more gates and 617 additional counters, as well as a new baggage-handling system. The North Terminal (concourse D) is so big it has its own mile-long rooftop people mover called SkyTrain. The gleaming South Terminal (concourses H and J) features vaulted ceilings and towering windows. Throughout the airport, colorful architectural details, permanent art installations and temporary exhibits enhance the traveling experience, giving visitors a glimpse of Miami’s culture, environment and international DNA. Currently on display is Football Player, a hyperrealist sculpture created by American artist Duane Hanson in 1981 and on view for the first time to the traveling public. Keep your ears perked for the voices of local sports, music and cooking stars, who greet passengers on the airport’s 36
PA system. These include Miami Dolphins legends Dan Marino and Nat Moore, among many other celebrities. On the ground, all roads — and trains and buses — lead to the massive transportation hub adjacent to the airport known as the Miami Intermodal Center. It connects the passenger terminal with any mode of ground transportation needed while reducing environmental impact by decongesting the busy roadways around the airport. MIA Mover, an automated light-rail system, then connects passengers coming from the air terminal with the Rental Car Center, train stations and buses.

The 4.4-mile Metromover tram that loops around Downtown Miami interconnects with Metrorail and Metrobus. Free trams run every few minutes and stop every few blocks. Metrorail, Metrobus and Metromover — operated by Miami-Dade County — work together to provide low-cost local transit, and the MDT Tracker app keeps riders connected. With new train cars, the 25-mile, 23-station Metrorail system runs like a transit spine from Dadeland in the south up through Downtown Miami, and northwest to Miami International Airport (Orange line) and Hialeah (Green line), with buses fanning out from the stations. Metrobus operates 102 routes with nearly a thousand buses covering 29 million miles per year. Beaches and other tourist favorites are well served. Equipped with luggage racks, the Miami Beach Airport Express (route 150) runs from MIA to South Pointe and back. Most Metrobus and Metrorail trips cost $2.25 with a prepaid, rechargeable Easy card or ticket. Express buses are $2.65. Shuttles are 25 cents. Buses accept dollar bills, quarters, dimes and nickels, but the train accepts only the card, which can be purchased and reloaded at stations or through the Easy Pay app. An unlimited daily pass is $5.65, a weekly pass is $29.25, and a monthly pass is $112.50. Some individual cities offer free local shuttles. Miami Beach operates four trolley loops. City of Miami runs 14 trolley routes in the central city, including Wynwood, and the SUPER BOWL 2020

TAXI, RIDE OR RENTAL Greater Miami is one of the easiest and most affordable places to rent wheels. The Rental Car Center, conveniently located next to the airport, accommodates 16 agencies under a single roof. Just look for the MIA Mover on the third level of the passenger terminal at Concourse E and ride it to the rental center.

Taxi trips are quick and affordable. Special blue cabs serve the airport area for flat rates of $13 to $17. Other flat-rate zones include Miami Beach and PortMiami. Regular cabs, usually yellow and waiting outside baggage claim, service the rest of the city. Ridesharing companies such as Lyft and Uber operate freely throughout the region. The Curb app hails cabs from Super Yellow, Central Cab and Tropical Cab.
PEDAL OR SCOOT An environmentally conscious way to get around Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, Wynwood and other areas — and get a little exercise in the process — is the popular bikesharing program CitiBike Miami, powered by DecoBike. It gives locals and visitors at least 18 years old easy access to nearly 2,000 beach cruisers available at more than 160 solarpowered DecoStations. Riders can check out a bike from any station and return it to any station by paying hourly rates with their credit cards upon rental, or they can start a monthly membership. A number of electric scooter rental companies also operate throughout the region, including Bird, Lyft and others.

Coral Gables trolley has two routes connecting with Douglas Road Metrorail station. Intercity passengers can ride up the coast on the Tri-Rail system. Amtrak trains currently terminate five miles north of the airport, but a new station, Virgin MiamiCentral, operates in Downtown Miami. Its VirginTrains connect Miami with Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

SUPER FAN FEST IN WYNWOOD Just slightly north, past Downtown and Museum Park, is Miami’s hottest neighborhood: Wynwood. Not only is this warehouse-turned-arts-district worth a visit in its own right, it’s also the location of Super Fan Fest, a free, week-long satellite event where fans will get to play before the Big Game. Right in the middle of Wynwood, large screens and authentic bleachers will set the stage, as visitors play pick-up touch games on the flag football field; try to kick the ball though a regulation field goal post; take a shot at the daily run, pass and kick contests; and so much more. Food trucks, bars, vendors, activations, a beer garden, tailgate BBQ zone and nightly dance parties round out the activities. And the best part is it’s all free!
GO SOUTH The sights reach far and wide in the Magic City — and they also get curioser and curioser. Case in Point: Coral Castle. The mysterious scientific marvel was built by a single man in 1923. Scientists, engineers, and historians are still challenged as to how Ed Leedskalnin was able to accomplish what he did, but his secrets remain. Proclaiming he knew how the Egyptian Pyramids were built, Leedskalnin built a megalithic structure in the 20th century — without modern technology or assistance. Take a guided tour of the grounds to learn about the history, science and romance behind the attraction. Look for patterns hidden in plain sight, see the newly discovered quarry where Leedskalnin buried most of his tools, marvel at his duplicate of a Stonehenge column with an alien face carved into the coral rock, turn the three-ton gate with the push of a finger and check out the sundial that displays a calendar, the seasons, winter and summer solstice, and the time of day. A little west of the castle is another of the city’s legendary attractions. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Zoo Miami is a local institution that has grown to become one of the largest and most influential zoos in the world. A pioneer in wildlife education and conservation, Zoo Miami has always gone to great lengths to replicate habitats, having animals live in wide open spaces that support their natural social structures. According to Ron Magill, Communications Director of the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, it’s a feather in the Zoo’s cap that the nearly 750-acre property is not fully developed. “We are blessed to be in a subtropical climate where many animals from numerous continents thrive,” he

seaside mansion is surrounded by romantic gardens, winding walkways and stunning architectural details. Over the Rickenbacker Causeway in tony Key Biscayne, wild times with the family continue at Miami Seaquarium, a 38-acre world-class marine-life entertainment complex. Down the road, you can swim, lounge, hike the well preserved barrierisland habitats or enjoy a picnic at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Once a segregated beach, the park now welcomes everyone with family-friendly amenities, such as grilling pavilions, an antique carousel, kids playground and beachside cabanas, as well as the largest mangrove wetland in the state! All along the island you’ll find popular beach destinations like Crandon Park and Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.

we have right here.” For zoos to be successful, they have to become conservation centers, and Zoo Miami is doing just that, repurposing an existing building to create a space for education. At the Conservation Action Center, opening in summer 2020, zoo guests will learn all the different and unexpected ways we all affect our environment, from where water comes from and where garbage goes to how something as seemingly harmless and ubiquitous as palm oil can destroy habitats. Stop by to see the more than 3,000 animals, 1,000 species of trees and plants, and 100 exhibits, and participate in the E-Waste Recycling Rally. Held in partnership with the NFL, Verizon and the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, the rally invites visitors to bring their electronic waste to the zoo for recycling to educate the public on how waste impacts the local environment, as well as places far from home, because, as Magill says, “everything is connected.”

SPIKE IT, BIKE IT OR HIKE IT Biking in Miami Beach and Downtown is a great way to exercise and sightsee. In the Downtown and Brickell areas you can rent a scooter, and bike-share stations can be found just about everywhere. If you’re feeling ambitious, bike the 15-mile Shark Valley trail in Everglades National Park. The waters are low in winter, so you can easily see gators. You can also explore amazing Miami-area trails at Oleta River State Park, Crandon Park in Key Biscayne or a little farther south in Biscayne National Park.

Miami’s arts and cultural district is squarely rooted in the Downtown corridor. Mummenschanz is a Swiss-based theater troupe that has been dazzling audiences for 45 years. Ailey II: The Next Generation of Dance brings America’s freshest dance troupe for a night of creative and refreshing vision on February 8.

The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), located in an amazingly picturesque waterfront locale, is Miami’s premier modern art institution. It specializes in Latin American and Caribbean artists. Next door, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is a sanctuary of all things science-related, featuring a worldclass aquarium with an immersive shark tank, a planetarium and amazing science exhibits. A less traditionally artistic museum experience can be had through February 9 at HistoryMiami Museum, which is hosting a must-see exhibit for all football fans. Miami’s diverse club scene and after-hours options are legendary. Simply choose a neighborhood and watch the night fade into the next sunrise. E11EVEN is Miami’s ultra-club. Open 24-hours, the venue features state of the art sound and video installations as a backdrop to top entertainment acts, as well as Cirque-style performers, aerialists, go-godancers and frequent exotic acts. Club Space across the street has long been Miami’s premier dance club for electronic music enthusiasts. Wynwood, with its beautiful street art, quickly transformed into the trendiest nighttime destination. With food trucks, pop-ups and activations, the area is ever-changing. Super Bowl LIV shares its name with the most iconic nightclub in Miami. LIV, tucked within the historic Fontainebleau on South Beach, often draws the most popular DJs and marquee acts, and it’s also a hot spot for celebrity sightings. Story is a nightclub hosting rap music acts, while Basement’s draw is a completely unique take on after hours entertainment, with its ice-skating rink, bowling alley and world-class DJs. Nikki Beach has it all: a delicious indoor restaurant, large outdoor beach club and sprawling cabana-style loungers for partiers to enjoy both day and night. BARS There is no shortage of bars in Miami, where many of the restaurants boast their own mixologists, and the wealth of hotels and resorts offer an embarrassment of options for the 21 and over crowd. Here are a few South Beach mainstays. The Clevelander is right in the middle of South Beach and figures to be on fire during Super Bowl week. The pool and bar house ESPN studios where radio and Miami icon Dan LeBatard records his popular ESPN radio show and podcast. Wet Willies is a Key West-style bar that specializes in frozen drinks that are so sweet you won’t know what hit you. Broken Shaker is a haven for hip, young locals and tourists alike. The outdoor bar immediately feels comfortable and the drinks are downright delicious. Mango’s Tropical Café provides a quick dive into Miami’s fiery Latin culture. The iconic and sultry dancers entertain over a million people every year.

Miami’s craft brewery scene is booming. The easiest neighborhood to navigate is Wynwood with its four beer havens — Wynwood Brewery, Concrete Beach, Veza Sur and J. Wakefield — within walking distance from one another. All the breweries offer a mix of signature beers and rotating specialties. Doral, an area on the rise near the Miami Airport, has the most breweries in Miami: MIA Beer, Tripping Animals, The Tank, Beat Culture, Biscayne Bay Brewing and Lincoln’s Beard. Farther north, in Fort Lauderdale, Funky Buddha is a requisite stop for beer enthusiasts.

“AL FRESCO” SHOPPING Another way to soak up the Miami sunshine, not to mention some local color, is by taking it to the streets. In the stylish village of Bal Harbour, superlative shopping meets tropical sophistication at Bal Harbour Shops, whose store directory reads like a Who’s Who of retail royalty — Balmain, Fendi, Harry Winston, Lalique, Prada... the list goes on. People-watching and outdoor cafés fuse with designer shopping in Miami Beach, where Lincoln Road, Española Way, Washington Avenue, Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive are all synonymous with must-have merchandise. The Super Bowl is a game of superlatives. Bigger. Faster. Greater. More. Go big or go home is the name of the game. And as modern-day gladiators aim to make history on the field, the sheer number of travelers coming to town for the event and the extent of food served at restaurants, bars and viewing parties can feel like the sole focus is on runaway consumerism. But that would be missing the full-scale of the efforts made not just to improve the impact this massive event has on a city, but to leave the place a little better than it was before. Enter the environmental initiatives that have become part and parcel of this Host Committee’s plans. The efforts are also an homage to what makes Miami so vibrant: it’s waterways.

TIES THAT BIND The Miami Super Bowl Host Committee partnered with the Everglades Foundation, the Ocean Conservancy and NFL Green to launch its signature environmental initiative: Ocean to Everglades (O2E). O2E celebrates South Florida’s unique environmental characteristics with the goal of enhancing the connection between residents and their environment and building local communities’ resilience by doing so. The Committee’s aim was to reduce the Super Bowl’s overall environmental impact and also leave a positive and sustainable legacy long after the final whistle of the game. By joining forces with NFL Green’s existing environmental program, the Committee saw overwhelming interest and participation from its partners, stakeholders and the community at large.
With it’s launch in April 2019, O2E supported Ocean Conservancy’s objective to remove 54 tons of ocean plastic and waste from South Florida waterways. These efforts will extend up to, and possibly after, the Super Bowl itself. Get involved at the beach clean-up on January 28, and support all sanitation efforts at Super Bowl LIVE, which concludes February 1. In addition, O2E joined numerous other partners to establish a coral reef restoration project, support the Python Bowl and also organize beach cleanups, promote sustainability practices, and support educational campaigns. Hit the Ernest Coe Visitor Center, along the Main Park Road, for a 38-mile one-way drive across sawgrass marsh, pine rockland, cypress, hardwood hammock and mangrove. Or hire an expert boat captain or fishing guide to tour Florida Bay or experience the pristine beaches of Cape Sable — the southernmost point of the continental U.S. Speaking of beaches, there are so many in the area that it’s impossible to see them all in one visit. Make sure to stop by Environmental Village at Super Bowl LIVE in Bayfront Park, where you’ll see several activations focused on the health of Florida’s environment. The Everglades, which once stretched from Orlando down through Lake Okeechobee all the way to the Florida Bay and the Florida Keys, now spans 3 National Parks and 14 National Wildlife Refuges across South Florida. Tour the River of Grass by land or by water. Everglades National Park spans 1.5 million acres of South Florida and is a World Heritage Site, a Wetland of International Importance, and an International Biosphere Reserve. Head to Shark Valley along Tamiami Trail and take a tram tour or bike the 15-mile loop

Each year, the NFL seeks to improve the surrounding communities of the Super Bowl host city through the Super Bowl Legacy Grant Program by donating an annual $1 million contribution from the NFL Foundation. Super Bowl Legacy Grant projects are identified by the NFL to help leave a lasting legacy long after the Super Bowl has been played. Projects include the following:
The Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, in conjunction with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, the Women’s Fund Miami-Dade, the U.S State’s Attorney’s Office and other partners launched a comprehensive campaign to stop sex trafficking in Miami-Dade County leading up to and beyond the February 2020 Super Bowl. The campaign includes a rapid response local text or call trafficking hotline, 305-FIX-STOP, introduced to complement national and other hotlines. Victims or community members who report trafficking crimes to the local hotline will be connected directly with local “305” Miami rapid response resources. The campaign also includes the 24/7 National Human Trafficking Hotline: Call 1-888-3737-888, text “BeFree” (233733) or live chat at humantraffickinghotline.org. Help is available in English, Spanish, Creole and more than 200 other languages. Additional key partners include: Ashley Moody, Attorney General for the State of Florida; George L. Piro, Special Agent in Charge, FBI, Miami, FL; Anthony Salisbury, Special Agent in Charge, Homeland Security Investigations, Miami, FL; the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Human Trafficking Task Force; the South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force; Over 300 local participating local community organizations; stakeholders from local, state and federal agencies, and throughout the national anti-trafficking community.

Extended stays are extra rewarding. Whether you unwind in Fort Lauderdale, get pampered in Palm Beach or escape to the Keys, all of South Florida is a playground for the senses.
Far from ordinary, the county to the north is low key but still teeming with excitement. For starters, pick a beach. From the surfer enclave of Deerfield Beach, passed the refreshed Pompano Beach, through the cozy corridor of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and into the fun-in-the-sun Fort Lauderdale Beach — or down to the family friendly Dania and Hollywood beaches — you might find yourself looking to move to this part of South Florida. At night, Fort Lauderdale is a virtual pub and club crawl, with longtime staples like the Elbo Room and Blondies Sports Bar providing a relaxed atmosphere for drinks off the sand. Downtown, just off SW 2nd Street, feels something like Austin, Texas, with bars like Apothecary 330, Himmarshee

A dynamic craft beer scene — complete with brewery tours and beer gardens — and the fresh arts warehouse district known as Fat Village complement traditional destinations like the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the Historic Stranahan House and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. Nearby attractions that should not be missed include the exciting NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale and the Stonewall National Museum in Wilton Manors. Shopping and dining along Las Olas Boulevard rank among the best in the country, with imaginative menus enticing diners who return for the eclectic flavors and sophisticated ambience. Farther west, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino offers Vegas-style modern and classic table games with swagger. It’s worth the trip just to see the recently opened hotel in the shape of a 450-foot Les Paul guitar. But a prolonged stay is rewarded with award-winning restaurants, live shows, a decadent pool and the gaming, of course.
