As I am sitting at my desk late one night (March 15, at 10:15 p.m. to be exact) trying to think of something to write for the newsletter by the deadline (March 15, 11:59 p.m. to be exact), I decide I need a break and log on to Ravelry because I still have plenty of time (1 hour and 44 minutes to be exact) to come up with a profound “message from the president.”… It is now March 16, 12:23 a.m., to be exact, I am past deadline and no farther ahead than I was on March 15, at 10:15 p.m. However, I did wonder: Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a roster with Ravelry names since I couldn’t figure out who half the members in our group were without their picture? And There are a lot of beautiful projects posted in our group, but I wish more people would post. How do you even do that? I’ll ask Lora or Linda. And How many people are going to enter the knitting contest? No one has commented on Ravelry. The rules and entry form are posted on Ravelry and can be linked from Facebook. The knit shops have the rules and entry forms. Emails were sent out. What else can I do? And What kind of classes or instructors do the Guild members want in the future? A couple of members have mentioned program ideas, but classes? And How am I going to stay awake at the craft fair tomorrow and what lame excuse am I going to give Sonja for being late? It is late (March 16, 1:03 a.m.. to be exact) and I am tired. I promise myself I won’t wait until the last minute next month (April 15, 11:59 a.m., to be exact) to write my message. I’ll have my taxes to worry about.
