be raffled each day to benefit a local youth climate action group. Kim from Wild Vine Designs and the Bricoleur Vineyards team will provide all the supplies and instruction you need to make a floral masterpiece and you provide the creativity (they can help with this, too, if needed). NOVEmbEr 27 Community Thanksgiving Service — All are invited to share in the Healdsburg Shared Ministries Community Thanksgiving Service in which area churches will provide music and a message of thanksgiving, and an offering will be taken for the Food Pantry and Christmas Basket Program. NOVEmbEr 28 Healdsburg Turkey Trot — Once again, the streets of Healdsburg will host a 5K run on Thanksgiving Day morning. Starting at 8 a.m. in front of Healdsburg Running Company (333 Center Street). Throw on your turkey suit and running shoes and get going. Part of your registration will support the Drew Esquivel Scholarship which supports student athletes from the Healdsburg area in their dream to attend college. Early registration is $35 for adults, $25 for kids 6-18 and free for athletes 5 years old and younger. Fees increase after Nov. 25. November 29: Healdsburg Downtown Holiday Party Gualala Arts Festival of Trees — The two-day (Nov. 29 and 30) annual tree lighting ceremony with caroling at 5 p.m. (on Nov. 29). Santa Claus makes visits on both days. Artists and food artisans fill the arts center with handcrafted goods, homemade jams, mustards, olive oils, and the like, wonderful gift items to choose from for the holidays. Children can visit the Kid’s Depot, where they can choose gifts for their family and friends from lightly loved donated items that fall within a child’s budget. Uncle Sus’s Attic offers adults the same experience, with a collection of carefully curated artwork, fine furnishings, small appliances and more. Mrs. Claus Bake Shoppe is filled with home-baked goodies such as candies, pies and cookies made from family recipes. Ornate Christmas trees decorate the Coleman Hall stage and are available for purchase,

and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a list of children’s wants and wishes throughout both days of this old fashioned, Winter Wonderland event.
