DEcEmbEr 6 - JaNuary 1 Windsor’s Charlie Brown Christmas Tree Grove Meander through over 200 trees decorated with personalities reflective of the community groups that created them. Trees are lit at sunset, followed by the main tree lighting at 7 p.m. Enjoy wagon and train rides, performances by local youth, live music, and a myriad of activities for families. A special mailbox enables kids to send letters to Santa (and receive responses). Treats and drinks available for purchase. November 23, Downtown Healdsburg Holiday Party – This smalltown event boasts hugely entertaining holiday festivities, including musicians and carolers, live performances, carriage rides, and great shopping. Pictures with Santa from 5-7 p.m. in downtown Healdsburg. donation. Young people under 15 get free admission and are encouraged to help. Anyone who might find themselves eating alone or lacking the funds or energy to prepare a holiday meal is invited to this celebration to share a meal with neighbors. Forestville Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony – Bring your family to the downtown oaks in Forestville! The Forestville Chamber of Commerce presents their annual tree lighting ceremony. Hot dogs, chips, cookies, hot chocolate and cider will be available. Santa Claus will arrive, music. Starts at 4 p.m. Forestville Downtown Park, Front St., Forestville.

Healdsburg Turkey Trot - Once again, the streets of Healdsburg will host a 5K run on Thanksgiving Day morning. Starting at 8 AM on front of Healdsburg Running Company (333 Center Street), we promise a good time for all. Throw on your Turkey suit and running shoes and let’s get going. Part of your registration will support the Drew Esquivel Scholarship which supports student athletes from the Healdsburg area in their dream to attend college. Early registration is $35 for adults, $25 for kids 6-18 and free for athletes 5 years old and younger until November 19 at midnight. Directress and alumna Sarah Saulsbury will spin yarns and lovingly lead our now 50-member ensemble through a trip down memory lane, as we revisit some of the best-loved songs of the winter holiday season written by choir members past and present. Skillfully weaving together song and story, poetry and theatrics, plus fine instrumental accompaniment, the OCC offers a joyful and eclectic winter holiday concert experience unlike any other you will find. Start the holidays in Downtown Geyserville with the annual Tree Lighting and Tractor Parade! This event will mark the 19th annual production of this original adaptation in a full-length dance story. DEcEmbEr 17, 21-23 Sebastopol Ballet’s Nutcracker - Sebastopol Ballet’s Nutcracker - First performed by in Sebastopol in 1991, Sebastopol Ballet’s show has grown to be a staple of holiday tradition for local families and beyond. Enjoy well-made costumes, professional guest artists in key roles, and well-trained students that shine on stage. Enjoy constantly changing surprises involving comedy, dogs, and more during entertaining performances. Tickets are $15-25 in advance and $20-30 at the door at Analy High School Theater. Matinees include a complimentary Sugar Plum Party for children, with sweet treats and the opportunity to meet the cast in costume! The Sugar Plum Party begins 1 hour before each show. Nutcracker ballet performances on December 21, 22 and 23. MicroNut, which is a condensed version of the ballet popular with local elementary schools, will be performed on December 17.
