FOUNTAIN HILLS MEDICAL CAMPUS
The Fountain Hills Medical Campus offers a wide range of healthcare services. The centrally located complex is home to Fountain Hills Family Practice, a Physical Therapy center, Imaging and Lab facilities, Dentistry, Chiropractic, Fitness and Yoga, Nutrition specialties, and more than 15 consulting physicians in a single location.
MAYO CINIC HOSPITAL
The Mayo Clinic Hospital is nearby, bringing their world-renowned medical care and research center to the area. The 268 bed hospital is the first for the Mayo Clinic system, making the Scottsdale area Clinic larger than their Rochester area complex.
PRIMARY CARE WALK-IN MEDICAL CLINIC
The Primary Care Walk-in Medical Clinic in the Basha’s center is open on weekdays. They also offer telemedicine visits.
FOUNTAIN HILLS MEDICAL CENTER
A new micro hospital has broken ground near Saguaro and Shea Boulevards with plans to open in Fall 2020. Phase I will provide an emergency room, 5 inpatient hospital beds for stabilizing patients, and will employ 50-75 people.

Nine area fitness centers offer customized strength training to keep seniors strong and mobile. The Town of Fountain Hills sponsors many kinds of fitness classes and league play, including Pickleball, Softball and Tennis, and the area offers a wide range of Golf opportunities for all skill levels.

The culture of camaraderie through volunteer service is the cornerstone of the Fountain Hills lifestyle. Dozens of organizations have combined resources to form the Fountain Hills Cultural and Civic Association using volunteers to bring art and musical events to life and made the Town just a little bit “Greener” with the launch of our Community Garden plots in 2017.

THE FOUNTAIN HILLS SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER
The Fountain Hills Senior Activity Center bubbles over with educational and social offerings designed to feed the mind, body and soul of Boomers and Seniors. Snugged into the Community Center complex, the Senior Center provides camaraderie and educational opportunities for more than 1200 members.
A modest membership fee of $20 per year provides access to a bustle of activities from knitting/handicrafts to foreign language classes, cultural trips and discussions and peer-led fitness and yoga.
Social events, like Ice Cream Socials and Dance Lessons provide light-hearted fun and the chance to meet new friends in the area.
There are 30+ regularly scheduled activities at the Senior Activity Center, from card and board games to exercise groups that meet daily or weekly. The Center engages a wide range of speakers to educate and enlighten Members and the Community as a whole. Health screenings are a regular part of the services, and classes like ‘A Matter of Balance’ help improve balance and strength. From support groups to screenings to the camaraderie of weekly ‘Mahjong” games, the Center is an affordable, active place to make and nurture friendships.
The Senior Center and the Town of Fountain Hills administer the local Home Delivered Meals program. Caring volunteers deliver the mid-day meal to their neighbors who look forward to a nutritious five-course meal prepared by the staff at Fountain View Village. These visits provide social interaction and loving oversight to Seniors who might otherwise feel isolated and alone.

MORNINGSTAR SENIOR LIVING
Fountain Hills newest Senior Living Campus is located in the heart of downtown – literally less than one block from the Library/ Community Center complex, the vibrant Avenue of the Fountains, and Fountain Park. This contemporary designed campus offers 63 assisted living suites on two levels, with spacious studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans, and is walking distance to dining, shopping and the new Community Garden.
