YCN UCC COFFEE ‘Visually re-think’ and ‘revitalise’ the UCC Grand Café range in order to communicate the quality and fairtrade ethos they uphold.


Concept

As the UCC Grand CafĂŠ ethos is centered around sustainability and ethically sourcing ingredients, this packaging has been designed with this as the central focus. The packaging will use only recyclable materials printed with vegetable based inks. This will compliment the Fairtrade & RFA certifications of the products.


Extending the range

As the current coffee range exists mostly in small, independent coffee shops, part of the packaging design can be applied to appropriate products. For example, takeout cups or a one time buy ceramic cup to encourage customers to re-use, rather than dispose of their cup each time.


Extending the range

Similarly to the take-out cups, applying a consistent design to recyclable paper bags will help create more of a brand awareness outside of coffee shops.
