Sketchbook issuu

Within my sketchbook I have been doing quick pencil drawings in order to capture Huxley’s expression which will benefit my mono prints as they are also quick and expressive.

I have also been using brush pen because I feel the textures can capture more than simple line.

I’ve been practising my type skills with ink however it’s very messy, which I’m not sure is what I want yet.

I have been drawing with ink and water too as it helps with tone and light.

I’m beginning to think that my publication will be black and white throughout, however I need another colour that represents both cynicism and mysticism, which is proving difficult to find.

As far as my animation goes, I have been storyboarding myself to death. I’m very confused and trying to make my idea a lot more simple. At this point I think I need to stop thinking about it and just do it on After Effects.

I have also been using brush pen for some of my type. I prefer this much more to the ink as the textures are more expressive and a little naive.
