Cheerfulness. What a great gift! To many of us, it is a very difficult thing to accomplish. Sometimes we feel heavy with the weight of all our difficulties. Then we are hit with one more and it pushes us beyond any point where cheerfulness might be automatic. That glass was already half empty—now it is almost totally empty. Our temperament and our reactions to stresses drive our ability to be cheerful. This booklet provides insight about cheerfulness or lack of cheerfulness and suggests some ways to help us become more cheerful. Perhaps we all can use a refresher in the art of being cheerful.
