Robustness and versatility from a compact tractor The Explorer TB is an intelligently designed, practical, functional and compact tractor. Its characteristics, and especially its reduced height (only 101 cm at the driver’s seat and 127 cm at the mudguards) make it the ideal solution for farming specialist crops, where manoeuvring space is at a premium and rational design is the key to success.
All the models in the Explorer TB range perform brilliantly in greenhouses, wide row olive and citrus groves and orchards in general, even with irregular planting patterns. The range includes three models of 75, 85 and 95 HP, all with 4WD, oil bath brakes on all four wheels, a 40 km/h gearbox and a
four speed, hydraulic P.T.O.. Demanding customers can choose from a range of options normally only available on far larger tractors, like SynchroPower transmission (with 2 powershift ratios in every gear), a synchro P.T.O. with an independent shaft, and a hydraulic trailer braking valve.

EXPLORER TB Reliable, powerful and long lasting SAME Euro II engines All Explorer TB models are equipped with the latest 1000 Series 4 cylinder engines, either naturally aspirated or turbocharged, innovatively designed power units that deliver unbeatable functionality and performance. These efficient and robust engines incorporate a host of advanced features that guarantee excellent levels of comfort and performance, combined with low
running costs and extremely limited maintenance. Thanks to technical solutions like a high pressure injection system (1,100 bar), Explorer TB engines deliver exceptional power and torque while keeping exhaust emissions well below Euro II levels. The high structural rigidity of the cylinder block and the special form of the combustion chambers also ensure better
and more consistent compression and oil tightness, for reduced noise emissions as well as lower fuel and oil consumption. The cooling system uses an anti-clog “triple flow” radiator and a generous fan to maintain optimal engine temperature even when the going gets hot.

PERFORMANCE Simple transmission means guaranteed efficiency The robustly designed transmission is engineered to handle all sorts of applications, including static work like tree shaking as well as moving work, for which the Explorer TB always has exactly the right gear available. A 5-speed SyncroPower gearbox means that the Explorer TB offers you a choice of 40 forward and 40 reverse gears, with the added advantage of being able to shift from a standard gear to a lower ratio and back again under load without using the clutch, just by pressing a button on the gear lever. Thanks to this powershift function, the Explorer TB can handle even ploughing and tillage work effortlessly and without stopping. On the road, the Explorer TB’s gearbox allows it to reach a top speed of 40 km/h for rapid transfer and transport, while in the field, with the creeper engaged, ground speeds of as little as 300 m/h can
be maintained easily. A specially designed and highly efficient oil cooler ensures total reliability of the transmission system by maintaining gearbox oil at the perfect operating temperature even during extended, intensive use.

RELIABILITY A P.T.O. and hydraulic system for all jobs A tractor’s versatility depends largely on its ability to work productively with different types of implement. That is why the Explorer TB is equipped with a P.T.O. capable of four speeds (540, 540 ECO, 1000 and 1000 ECO) plus a hydraulically operated, multi-disc, oil-bath clutch. These important technical characteristics allow the TB to deliver all the power you need to handle even challenging operations like stone crushing and digging, while also minimising fuel consumption with lighter implements like hay makers.
Thanks to a synchro P.T.O. with independent shaft, the Explorer TB can even operate driven axle trailers for harvesting and spreading. In conjunction with the solidity of its three point linkage, the Explorer TB’s great structural strength permits an amazing lifting capacity of 4700 kg with supplementary cylinders fitted (95 HP version), allowing you to use the heaviest implements for this class of tractor. And depth, draft and mixed implement control enables mounted implements to be handled with ease and precision.
The hydraulic system features a 54 l/min pump and 6-way hydraulic control valves. A second, fully independent pump powers the hydrostatic steering system. The result is lighter, smoother steering even at low engine speeds as well as greater reliability and an extended working life from the hydraulic system.

COMFORT
Ergonomic controls
Insulated driving position
Grip, safety and comfort under all conditions The Explorer TB delivers amazing traction and safe grip, even on hillsides, in orchards and over difficult terrain. Its low centre of gravity, excellent ground clearance, perfect weight distribution, efficient four wheel drive and oil bath disc brakes on all wheels guarantees high speed working and short stopping distances even with heavy carried implements. To maximise safety, the parking brake operates directly on the transmission and is completely independent of the working brakes.
The platform is mounted on rubber vibration dampers to insulate it from the transmission. The mudguards are adjustable in height to suit the size of the wheels, and the safety frame folds down to facilitate implement work under low branches and permit easy entry into greenhouses. The structural strength of the engine and transmission blocks, the sound-proofing wall between the engine and driving position, and the use of special clear polycarbonate deflectors keep noise well below 86 dBA at the driving position. Ergonomic lateral controls, suspended pedals, an adjustable steering wheel, and hydrostatically operated clutch and brakes confer on the Explorer TB a level of operator comfort normally found only on far larger tractors.
