Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush (1970) Written during a prolific period in Young’s career Gold Rush features hit songs including “Only Love Can Break Your Heart” and “When You Dance I Can Really Feel Love”. Carole King’s Tapestry (1971) Earning four Grammy awards, including Song of the Year for “You’ve Got a Friend”, Tapestry became the longest-charting album by a female solo artist. Paul Simon’s Graceland (1986) Eclectic, eccentric and unquestionably original, Graceland won the Album of the Year Grammy in 1996 and features hits like “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” and “You Can Call Me Al”. Prince’s Purple Rain (1984) A multilayered, synth-heavy blend of rock, R&B and dance, this album sold over 20 million copies worldwide and songs like “When Doves Cry” and “Let's Go Crazy” have become pop classics. The Beatles’ Abbey Road (1969) T he last recorded album before their breakup, Abbey Road was a huge hit for the band, featuring some of their most cherished and timeless songs like “Come Together” and “Here Comes the Sun”. Stan Rogers Songbook A true pioneer of Canadian folk music, Rogers crafted beautiful Maritime songs like “Fogarty’s Cove”, “Barrett’s Privateers” and “Northwest Passage”.
