I am thrilled to welcome everyone to the Source Kids Disability Expo in Brisbane. We are so excited to be bringing this event back to Brisbane for the fifth time.
The expo will showcase over 145 product and service providers giving young people with disability and their families, carers and professionals the opportunity to discover and try products, as well as talk and connect with providers.
We have some amazing interactive zones within our expo, making it the perfect day out for the whole family. These zones include our Active, Virtual Reality, Arcade, Nature and Screen Zone, as well as a Sensory Zone which includes a Silent Disco and also a place to relax. And of course, we have our Stage with an incredible line up of entertainment, including the acclaimed Tiptoe Giants, Special Olympics Australia, InsideOutside Dance and much more!!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Source Kids team, for their relentless enthusiasm and passion in making this event such a wonderful success. Our event will be a cashless event and payments for products within the event can only be made via EFTPOS payments.
CATERING –Light snacks and a selection of freshly prepared food is available for purchase during expo hours from the onsite Café located at the rear of the exhibition hall. There are also many cafes and restaurants in and around the Southbank area of Brisbane.

We have loads of fun, active and entertaining zones available throughout the expo – designed to make the event a great day out for all.
Active Zone
Come and find out what your body can do in the Active Zone, where you’ll be able to test your balancing, climbing, and jumping skills with a fun soft-fall obstacle course. No matter if you’re 6 or 60, this is sure to be a good time! The Active Zone is located in the front left-hand side of hall, where it will be available for play during all opening hours of the expo.

Screen Zone
Chill out, recharge and play at our Screen Zone! After taking in everything at the expo, why not chill out and enjoy our Screen Zone, complete with comfy chairs and a big screen. With no shortage of options, we’ll be sharing videos and movies all day. You can find the Screen Zone at the front right-hand side of the hall and it will be there during opening hours on both days.
Sensory Zone
Put on some headphones and enjoy our Silent Disco while exploring all the latest and greatest sensory equipment in our Sensory Zone. It’s a great place to take a break before setting off again to explore the rest of the expo. The Sensory Zone will be open on both event days and located at the back middle of the hall.

Speak to one of our friendly Source Kids staff members at the Sensory Headset Loan counter (front of hall entrance), where you can loan a headset for the duration of your stay. GET READY TO BE ENTERTAINED!
Our line-up of fun on the Stage will get you moving, grooving, clapping and cheering. We’ll have the acclaimed Tiptoe Giants taking centre stage, Special Olympics Australia, InsideOutside Dance and much more! Plus some of your favourite characters coming to join us. You won’t want to miss out. The Stage is in the middle of the hall, and you can check out the full program of entertainment on page 20 - 21.
Arcade Zone
This is the place to be! So much fun for everyone! Who’s ready to shoot some hoops & strike some goals. Head to the Arcade Zone on the left-hand side of the hall, where there are three interactive areas to choose from. Basketball, Foosball or Air Hockey - do them all in any order you like! The Arcade Zone will be the happening place, open both days of expo.
VR Zone
Immerse yourself into another world with our amazing VR Zone! Thanks to the technology of virtual reality, you will experience incredible adventures without having to go anywhere. Jump aboard our roller coaster and embark on a journey or beat saber your way to a top score, the choice is yours. Our VR Zone will be located at the back left-hand side of the exhibition hall and will be open on both days of expo.
Race Running
A Race Runner is a custom built three-wheeled frame where the runner is fully supported by a saddle and leans against a chest support, propelling themselves forward by the feet (one or both), while using the hands and/or arms to steer. Dejay Medical will have Race Runners on display and for use during the event, located at the front left of the hall.
Nature Zone
Take in the tranquility of our calming Nature Zone where there are some wonderous animals big & small hiding out for you to seek and find. Grab a magnifying glass and take an adventure along our forest wall to see how much wonderful wildlife you can find. The Nature Zone will be located on the right-hand side of the hall and open both days of expo.

SENSE TEAM SPORTS
Come and join Australian Olympian Jesse Parahi and the Sense Team Sports Occupational Therapists to meet those sensory needs through tackling, crashing, passing and playing! Sense Team Sports is a sport based Occupational Therapy program that uses rugby and AFL as a therapy tool to help children and teens develop their skills while making friends and connecting with their local clubs. Join Jesse and the team at the stage from 11:00am!
WCMX AUSTRALIA + SPORTING WHEELIES
Can you beat the WCMX obstacle course? WCMX & Adaptive Skate and Sporting Wheelies are on a mission to prove that mobility devices can be fun! Check out the interactive session to see what you can achieve on wheels... and more! Learn lifechanging mobility skills from a neurodivergent occupational therapist who has physical disabilities in a world first mobility skills program. Head to the Stage at 10:30am both days of expo and see if you can beat the obstacle course!

Playing for All
– is a gamesbased program for both children and adults with intellectual disability/ autism. It helps them get active, make friends and have fun while learning important life skills. Sessions include small-sided games that allow for high involvement and games with modified rules, area and equipment to promote inclusion and prompt understanding. Their vision is an inclusive Australia where all people live an active, healthy and fulfilling life. Join the team from 11:30am to try some target and movement games.

It’s time to Colour the World! Open your eyes, ears, heart and minds on a rainbow, musical adventure with Tiptoe Giants. Do you have a favourite colour? Put your dancing shoes on and come stomp, dance and Tiptoe with Lee, Vee and Meg to explore and discover some of the beautiful things that make the world a colourful rainbow. They will be lighting up the Stage at 12:00pm, both days.

Come dance with us. InsideOutside Dance is the largest NDIS registered dance school for people with disabilities in Australia. Join the dance crew to do some hip hop, jazz and contemporary.
