Accommodation Hotel KASKÁDA**** Hotel Kaskáda offers accommodation with a view of the surrounding golf courses and it has a capacity of 100 beds. It is situated in beautiful countryside in the vicinity of Brno dam. The name of this relax/sport resort and hotel – “Kaskáda (Cascade)” – perfectly describes the character and uniqueness of the place. New congress hall and wellness centre will be available in September 2009.

Activities and sights in the area Brno – commercial and cultural centre of the South-Moravian region. Brno Dam – favourite recreational area, an ideal place for all kinds of water sports. Regular ferry service from April until October. Veveří – an old Gothic hunting manor situated by the Brno Dam, various social and cultural events take place here. Předklášteří u Tišnova – a Cistercian convent Porta Coeli founded by the Queen Constance in the year 1233, convent temple with a unique French portal, exhibition of the Brno-Podhorácké museum. Pernštejn – an unimpaired European Gothic-renaissance fortress, annual historical festivals in the beginning of July. Tišnov – regular international exhibitions of minerals held twice a year, the Klucanina observation tower, unique deposit of minerals at the Květnice hill. Permanent exhibition of J. Jambor artwork (painter from the Czech Highlands) in the Jambor’s house.

The 18-hole championship course is very interesting and challenging with natural obstacles, deep bunkers and artificial water hazards. A good practice area and public course are also available. The unique (pitch & putt / par 3) public course can be found in the gardens of Slavkov Chateau which was the battlefield of the famous historical “battle of three emperors” and the victory of emperor Napoleon in the year 1805.

Accommodation Golf Hotel Austerlitz*** All hotel rooms are in 6 separate bungalows located in the vicinity of the golf course. The Hotel offers 30 double bedrooms and 3 spacious apartments. Activities and sights in the area Sports centre Bonaparte, swimming pool with beach volleyball and a spa house are situated in the vicinity of the golf course. Austerlitz Battlefield – the Battle of Austerlitz also is known as the Battle of the Three Emperors. It was one of Napoleon‘s greatest victories, effectively destroying the Third Coalition against the French Empire. On December 2, 1805 a French army, commanded by Emperor Napoleon I, decisively defeated a Russo-Austrian army, commanded by Tsar Alexander I, after nearly nine hours of difficult fighting. Reconstructions of the battle and memorial events take place here annually in the beginning of December. Peace Memorial – an Art Noveau style chapel on top of the hill above the Prace village, timeless memento of war victims. Museum of the Brno region, exhibitions, café. Slavkov – town which is worldwide known as the Austerlitz. An armistice between France and Austria was signed in the Baroque Slavkov Chateau on December 6, 1805. Tours of chateau interiors, cultural and social events, Napoleon museum. The chateau is surrounded by a beautiful park.

Apart from the 18-hole course there is also a driving range, putting green, chipping green and stylish cobwork clubhouse which in 2003 was awarded “Construction of The Year” in the South-Moravian area.”

Most of the holes are flanked by trees but there are also many chances to observe racing cars or silhouettes of Brno. A driving range, putting and chipping green are also available. You can get refreshments in the wooden cabin bar or buy some golf equipment in the local pro-shop.

Accommodation Hotel and Restaurant Žebětínský Dvůr*** This hotel is situated in suburbs of Brno in the protected landscape area of Podkomorský forrest. A beautiful view of the Brno city centre from Renaissance terraces. Vila Tugendhat – an architectural sight registered by UNESCO. Crucial masterpiece of the Functional architecture created by the German architect Ludwig Miese van der Rohe. Built in Černá Pole city district between 1929–1930. St. Jacob’s Church – a Gothic church from the late 16th century, 92m high tower, unique charnel-house. Tombstone of Louis Raduit de Souches (the army general who defended Brno against superiority during the Thirty Years War) can be found inside the church.
