South Bank is divided into three main precincts – Little Stanley Street/Grey Street, the Parklands, and River Quay. Each precinct has been strategically created to attract a diverse range of visitors to the area.

• Little Stanley Street radiates contemporary charm with its cafes and multicultural restaurants. Grey Street is connected to Little Stanley Street through alfresco breezeways and has a trendy urban feel with restaurants throughout.

LITTLE STANLEY/ GREY STREET

Little Stanley Street is a lush tree-covered promenade lined with effortlessly stylish and diverse bars, restaurants and cafes. Linked by alfresco breezeways is its culinary sister Grey Street, offering a more urban casual feel.

Through fit-out design, a strategic retail mix and securing experienced operators who are willing to push the boundaries with unique menus, these streets will continue to pave the way for Brisbane’s dining culture.

THE BUSINESS PRECINCT

The construction of a number of large business developments has seen South Brisbane emerge as one of Brisbane’s most dynamic commercial inner-city precincts. It has proven to be an ideal location for head offices, educational institutions, service providers and world class medical facilities.

The inner-south market, including South Brisbane, has experienced considerable growth in total office stock when compared to the Brisbane CBD and surrounding fringe markets.

There are currently 12 educational institutions surrounding South Bank including Queensland University of Technology, South Bank Institute of Technology, Griffith University and central Queensland University. These schools cater to more than 80,000 students in total.

Southpoint is one of the largest mixed-use, transport-oriented development (TOD) projects in Queensland. Southpoint is home to Flight Centre and Virgin Australia’s global headquarters and Brisbane’s second luxury Emporium Hotel.

South Bank is home to an abundant mix of residential apartment buildings, units and town houses.
