Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Student Companies GetTheEdge@serc.ac.uk Virtual Entrepreneurs Club Welcome to the Spring Catalogue where goods and services will be on display throughout the year, available to purchase directly from the seller. The SERC digital catalogue was created as a solution to Covid-19 restrictions which meant on campus fairs could not go ahead. The catalogue has became a regular feature, showcasing staff and student companies from SERC. At SERC we can offer something different to enhance students' educational programme-a unique Enterprise experience. SERC is committed to developing new programmes and initiatives to encourage students to explore enterprise. We offer an environment where students and earlystage businesses can experience Enterprise as well as being taught the business skills required to start and grow a business and providing opportunities for the development of transversal skills which complement the vocational skills you learn on your course. The online catalogues are just one of the ways we do this. The Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Environment team work across all campuses, championing and mentoring students and staff who would like to get involved.

RD Templeton David Templeton (RD) has had a love of writing since he was young. This love of writing led him to self-publish his first novel, 'The Dark Web', on Amazon in 2018. Then in 2019, he published the follow on novel 'Helter Skelter'. His wife Ally Templeton is a Training Support Officer at SERC and in her spare time, started her own part time creative company called AMTcreative in 2018, designing the front covers for David’s books.
