Antioch eyes $45 million in projects next year By Gail Peckler-Dziki CORRESPONDENT
The Village of Antioch covers 8.5 miles with capital assets of more than $120 million. It is home to nearly 14,500 residents. The village provides police, fire and ambulance service and has a parks department responsible for 10 parks and numerous programs, including a pool. The public works depart-
ment is responsible for more than 70 miles of road and 100 miles of sidewalks. The village has more than 70 miles of water main, more than 1,000 fire hydrants and has wells, water towers and a water tank. All that infrastructure and equipment requires a replacement and maintenance plan
