Village Board approves fire district annexation By Gail Peckler-Dziki CORRESPONDENT
JUDE KAIDER Hi-Liter
The casket of veteran and Antioch resident SSgt. John G. Trinca is escorted into St. Bede Catholic Church in Ingleside on Sept. 19. After the Mass of Christian Burial at the church, Trinca was laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery in Antioch. Escorting the funeral procession from Strang Funeral Home in Antioch to the church were members of the Patriot Guard Riders, a group that volunteers to ride in veteran’s funerals as long as someone asks them.
