WELCOME The Marcia G. Taylor Women’s Center opened in 2007 as part of Henry Medical Center’s North Tower expansion. The Center is named in honor of Marcia Taylor, a local businesswoman who has been involved with Henry Medical Center for many years and wanted to make a difference in the lives of women. Building the Center allowed the hospital to expand the services provided for women in every stage of life. We offer everything a mom-to-be could want for her new family – state-of-the-art equipment and technology, highly trained professionals, specialized caregivers, and an atmosphere like home – plus what every woman needs later in life. NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE No one expects their baby to need specialized care, but The Marcia G. Taylor Women’s Center is prepared when those situations arise. From adjustable star-like “twinkle” lights to equipment that lets staff know if the noise level gets too loud for the babies’ comfort, our top-level Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is designed to help babies grow and get healthy, without over stimulating them. Board-certified neonatologists and highly skilled staff complete intensive training in caring for premature and acutely ill newborns and have access to the most advanced technology available. No matter how tiny your baby might be, he’s safe in our care.
