My name is Ergasia PT and I drive a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with just slightly over 157,000 miles on her. She is granite crystal gray and she is known as Cleo, the Ice Queen. To date she has been through 21 states, 8 sets of tires, and 28 oil changes. She is an amazing vehicle and she’s driven me around in Colorado rain, snow or shine. I am a physical therapist and in 2015, I ruptured all eight of my quadriceps which I would have surgically repaired and then I would need to learn to walk again. Six weeks after my injury I was back in my car, this car literally helped me to recover. I could get out and drive and relax and calm my mind as I was recovering. She has decals that have been made by a friend of mine, many of which pay tribute and Ergasia PT respect to police officers as well as, cancer victims, a friend with scoliosis that never gives up, #TeamTwisted, firefighters and a few of my own mantra. I have taken her to shows in Pensacola simply to bring awareness to abused children and plan to go to an event for suicide awareness this coming September in Phoenix. She has been at events which commemorate the unfortunate loss of officers lives while remembering them and never forgetting what they have given up for safety. Through her I have met some absolutely magnificent people who have not only become good friends but also many of which who have influenced me in a very positive way. I consider myself very privileged and very honored and very humbled to drive a car of this caliber while also meeting high quality and high caliber people along the travels. My hope is to get her in even more states and to get her to 300,000 miles and hopefully take her to more shows simply to meet more people and honor those who have given up their safety for our freedom as well as those who need help being reminded that they have people like us standing behind them to support them in whatever way we can.

The Story of t he D ev i l ’s Daughter. By: Don Monshau 1952 Chevrolet Styleline DeLuxe, 350 engine,Turbo 350 transmission, 3:08 geared rear end. I was on a Beer Run one day in 2007 and as I was driving down the road, the car called my name. It was a block off of the main drag in town. I went back and bought the car

and drove it home. For the next couple of months we prepared it or the Hunnert Car Pileup. We chopped the top and lowered the suspension in an effort to attend the show. The next year in 2008 we did more bodywork to bring the car up a notch. It was painted Black with

Candy Green flames and BIG FLAKE. After an appearance in Goodguys magazine, it really lit the fire that made us want to take it the rest of the way to a

Full Kustom. For the next 6 years the car was transformed into the car it is today. The floors and body were repaired, the roof was reworked, the engine and transmission were

fitted and rebuilt and full air suspension was added. The 1974 Chevrolet 350 was ground smooth and deburred, then sent to the machine shop for boring and squaring. The entire rotating assembly was balanced. The heads were ported and then had a 3 angle valve job completed. Comp cams flat tapped hydraulic cam was used, along with MSD ignition and Demon 650 carburetor. All the body panels (most of which were replaced previously) were smoothed to perfection in an effort for the Grenade green base coat /

clear coat paint job. Handles were shaved, frenched antennas were added, door corners rounded, hood had 180 louvers added, trunk lid shaved, and N.O.S. trim on the 1/4 panels. The Belt line trim was modified. The taillights were lowered 2". The suspension has full airride with Mustang II front suspension w/rack and Pinion steering and the rear is a parallel 4 link disc/drum on the brakes. The interior was completed by Creative Top And

Trim in Oswego and done in White Tuck n Roll. There is an 1100 Watt stereo system for the long hauls. The car has been to 7 states so far and logged over 9000 miles and received many awards . Over 90% of the work was completed at home. Wiring was done by Randy Anderson. All body and assembly by the owner. Engine machining by Kenny King, Interior By Mike Bell @ Creative Top and Trim. Chrome by Quality Chrome in Sterling Illinois.

Fuentes “follows the dream” giving back to community Rain or shine, every morning at 4:30a.m. Jim Fuentes gets on his bike and rides for Tinley Park to Joliet and back, a distance that can range anywhere from 25 to 50 miles in a given day. It’s a level of commitment that has maintained his entire career-and what a unique path that career has taken. The process of getting up and exercising every day is a commitment Fuentes says he makes to himself and to being the best he can be every day. “Self-discipline is a big part of the success I have had in my life, he says. “I stay up-to-date on my education every day and up-to-date on technology. If you don’t you get run over.” Known affectionately as the Mayor of Oak Park by those in Tinley Park who understand the importance of the historic business district and how it has impacted the current and the future success of the village, Fuentes has never has never been shy about putting in a solid day’s work. In fact, if it were possible to put two day’s work in one, most people who crossed his path would likely put his money on him. Whether teaching, coaching or mentoring, as a friend, professional or advisor, Fuentes has been in many leadership roles and many jobs over the decades as a Southsider. As a graduate of Thornton Fractional North High School in Calumet City, Fuentes had the opportunity to go back to his alma mater and teach; he coached wrestling and track and he’s been a paramedic, all of this prior to hearing about the chance to be involved with State Farm Insurance. “I have been blessed with my staff, we have more than 100 years’ experience, and blessed by my community,” says Fuentes, who gives an enormous amount of credit to his wife, Lois, who acts as the company CFO. “I enjoy working with the people the people every day and I enjoy having the opportunity to give back to this Tinley Park community.” At a time when Fuentes says so many people have become comfortable with shopping price online, making insurance a commodity product, entirely eliminating the human contact, he makes the extra effort to connect. “What a lot of people do not understand is that when they get big, that’s when the relationship matters. I think with all the connectivity, we’ve lost relationships.” He says. Oftentimes when Fuentes asks people about their policy or when the last time was that they sat down and reviewed it with their agent, they do not even know the agent’s name or what they look like. Fuentes says he tries to take the incredible life experiences he has had and share them in an effort to help others figure out not only how to determine the insurance plan they need, but also adopt an attitude that plan today for something that may come tomorrow. An avid enthusiast that is always focused on making the community and the people around him better, Fuentes is the recipient of the Crystal Award, State Farm’s highest form of recognition for service.

The Ford GT40 is a high-performance endurance racing car with the Mk I, Mk II, and Mk III model cars being based upon the British Lola Mk6, and were designed and built in England, while the GT40 Mk IV model was designed and built in the United States. The range was powered by a series of Americanbuilt engines modified for racing. The GT40 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four consecutive times, from 1966 to 1969 (1966 being the Mk II, 1967 the Mk IV, and 1968–1969 the oldest chassis design, the Mk I), including a 1-2-3 finish in 1966. In 1966, with Henry Ford II personally in attendance at Le Mans, the Mk II GT40 provided Ford with the first overall Le Mans victory for an American manufacturer, and the first victory for an American manufacturer at a major European race since Jimmy Murphy´s triumph with Duesenberg at the 1921 French Grand Prix. The Mk IV GT40 that won Le Mans in 1967 is the only car designed and built entirely in the United States to achieve the overall win at Le Mans.

The GT40 was originally produced to win long-distance sports car races against Ferrari (who won at Le Mans six times in a row from 1960 to 1965). Ford/Shelby chassis #P-1075, which won in 1968 and 1969, is the first car in Le Mans history to win the race more than once, using the same chassis. Using an American Ford V-8 engine, originally of 4.7-liter displacement capacity (289 cubic inches), it was later enlarged to the 4.9-liter engine (302 cubic inches), with custom designed alloy Gurney–Weslake cylinder heads.

The car was named the GT (for Grand Touring) with the 40 representing its overall height of 40 inches (1.02 m, measured at the windshield) as required by the rules. Large-displacement Ford V8 engines (4.2-liter, 4.7-liter and 7-liter) were used, compared with the Ferrari V12, which displaced 3.0 liters or 4.0 liters.

Early cars were simply named "Ford GT". The name "GT40" was the name of Ford's project to prepare the cars for the international endurance racing circuit, and the quest to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The first 12 "prototype" vehicles carried serial numbers GT-101 through GT-112. The "production" began and the subsequent cars—the MkI, MkII, MkIII, and MkV (with the exception of the MkIV, which were numbered J1J12)—were numbered GT40P/1000 through GT40P/1145, and thus officially "GT40s". The name of Ford's project, and the serial numbers dispel the story that "GT40" was "only a nickname."

The contemporary Ford GT is a modern homage to the GT40.
