Heli-skiing up in the heights Kittelfjäll is known far and wide for its amazing conditions for off-piste skiing and heli-skiing. It offers plenty of different peaks and runs with a vertical drop of up to an impressive 800 metres. Skiing is done both above and below the tree line. The mountains in Kittelfjäll are covered with ravines of differing sizes and varying forms, meaning that no two runs are the same. Forest, bare mountain, ravines, corridors, drops, jumps and everything from gentle slopes to extremely steep ones for the advanced skier. There’s skiing for all here! The average skier will find good slopes on which to develop, long red runs and easy off-piste runs. For beginners and the little ones there are blue runs and children’s slopes with their own surface lift that goes at a gentle pace. In Kittelfjäll you’re far away from stress and congestion on the slopes, and the natural surroundings are perfect for everyone to enjoy their skiing!

The lift at Stora Blåsjön goes up to the top of Mesklumpen, 924 metres above sea level. Sunny days offer enchanting views from the top of the Solliften lift. One of the three towing lifts takes you up the slope, and then downhill by slalom in pistes or loose snow. The slopes at Stora Blåsjön have an impressive vertical drop of 475 metres, the fourth highest in Sweden, giving you a run of no less than 3.5 km before you’re down in the valley. Blåsjön’s mountain resort is a great place for families with children, the groomed slopes with natural snow are wide and classified as green, blue or red. The Knattepisten slope is a child-friendly run with its own children’s ski lift, situated on a pleasant slope on Mesklumpen that’s ideal for a coffee. The Blåsjön mountain resort is also acknowledged to be an Eldorado for freeriders, a place that offers memorable runs!
