DESIGN BRIEF To design a top and skirt for the season spring summer 2014/15 for Angelina Jolie for her premiere of tomb raider .Based on the theme Armageddon i.e. the last battle between good and evil before the Day of Judgement. .the top and skirt are mainly made with dark blue denim and black leather surface developments.Thetopalsohasaleather armourontherightshoulderwithrivets on it which gives it a very strong and outgoing feel

THEME BOARD The disaster that has deemed itself on the world is what the theme stands for. the final destructive battle or conflict amongst the good and the evil is prevalent and that is what inspires this attire.

COLOUR BOARD In the garment the colour blue depicts the gloom of the catastrophe that is to followandtheblackreflectsthedarkness foreshadowing the world.

INSPIRATION Inspired from har megiddĹ?n , Hebrew for Armageddon or the last battle fought between good and evil before the Day of Judgement.Itisadramaticandcatastrophic conflict, especially one seen as likely to destroy the world or the human race.

As a consequence of the aggressive pricing policies of such retailers,smallerplayerstendedtoreducetheiraverageunitpricesandboostpromotionsin order to be able to compete with the big low cost retailers. PROSPECTS: During the forecast period womenswear is expected to register a CAGR of 3% in volume terms and also in value terms at constant 2014 prices, being the fastest growing category within apparel in Spain. It is expected to reach value sales of â‚Ź10.0 billion and 387 million garments. COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE: Zara EspaĂąa maintained its lead in womenswear with an 11% value share in 2014. Its leadership is guaranteed thanks to a network of 323 stores located throughout Spain, and the popularity of the brand amongst Spanish women. In 2014 it opened a new store in the luxurious shopping area of Milla de Oro in Madrid, with more than 60% of the sales area dedicated to womenswear. It is one of the biggest stores in Spain, and is a symbol of the new orientation of the brand towards the concept of premium apparel.

DESIGN BRIEF To design a womans jacket for the season spring summer 2014/15 for Lady Gaga .Based on the theme rebel the jackethastwocontradictingelementsof lustre’s smooth feel against the leathers ruggedness which suit its theme.

THEME BOARD The way light interacts with the surface of a metal is what lustre stands for. The word traces its origins back to the latin lux,meaning“light�,andgenerallyimplies radiance, gloss, or brilliance. The way the jackets panels shine they give a very lustrous feel to the garment it also has a very empowering feature added to it due to the black.

MOOD BOARD The jacket in a way reflects a rebelliousfeaturethroughitsuncommon pairing of the sophisticated lustre and the rugged black leather.

COLOUR BOARD The jackets front panels have colors like antique golden placed on brown leather that gives a subtle yet lustrous feel to it, which is placed on a black leather base which makes the panels stand out.

INSPIRATION BOARD the inspiration for the theme lustre comes from the sculptures of Anish Kapoor, Indian-bornBritishsculptorknownforhisuseof abstractbiomorphicformsandhispenchant for rich colours and polished surfaces. he uses saturated pigments and striking architectural forms in bodies of work such as 1000 Names. Created between 1979 and 1980, this series consisted of arrangements of abstract geometric forms coated withloosepowderedpigmentsthatspilled beyond the object itself and onto the floor or wall.
