On this tour of discovery, you can roam Dubrovnik’s storied defensive walls and meander the Old Town, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. Entering the Old Town at the imposing Pile Gate, you’ll ascend remarkably preserved ramparts and be able to gaze down upon Dubrovnik’s beguiling terra cotta roofs. View the imposing Minceta Tower, the cylindrical Bokar Fortress and arresting Fort Saint John, home of the city’s Maritime Museum, which has some 4,000 exhibits. Descending the walls into the Old Town at the Stradun, the city’s main street, you’ll enjoy some free time to wander, shop or explore further.

Combine a trio of ancient sites on this fascinating tour. Beginning in the ancient harbour city of Priene, situated at the foot of a spectacular cliff on Mount Mycale, you’ll discover examples of Hellenistic art and architecture. Next is Miletus, one of Anatolia’s largest and most important cities. Its amphitheatre and labyrinthine-covered passageways are particularly evocative. Your last stop will be Didyma, where you can see decorative freezes and the remains of the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo. A lunch consisting of simple but delicious Turkish specialities rounds off your experience.

A breathtaking drive through the West Fjord mountain landscape brings you to tiny Skrudur, Iceland’s oldest botanical garden. Over 100 years old, this small green oasis shows what can be grown this far north. You will also visit the old shark-fishing town of Flateyri, perched on a spit of land projecting out into Onundarfjordur fjord and boasting a population of about 200. Arriving at its intimate little church, you’ll be treated to Icelandic music. Sarah Fabergé is the great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé and Godmother of Seven Seas Grandeur™ and will host a sailing on board our newest ship, Seven Seas Grandeur™, in 2024. A founding member of the Fabergé Heritage Council, which was formed to counsel the prestigious Fabergé brand in its pursuit of excellence and exclusivity, Sarah works closely with the Fabergé team and acts as a company ambassador at events around the globe. A creative at heart like her late father Theo, Sarah is also Director of Special Projects at Fabergé.
