Dear Dharma Fam & Friends,
Warm greetings from sunny Nosara! This month, we are delighted to announce that our inaugural launch event for Dharma San Juan was a wonderful success! We are so blessed and grateful to all the family and friends who came out to support us in prayer, song and celebration of our beloved Nosara community.
David , Jesse, Mara & JamesDAY ONE: WELCOME DINNER & CACAO CIRCLE
On Day 1 of Dharma Week, we gathered together at sunset with fri new & old alike, in the cozy shade of our newly set up, safariesque, Dharma Lounge. With the amber glow of sunset upon us, together we opened the space and embarked on a journey of sacred intention & heart-opening co-creation to honor our ancestors & the spirits of this land by experiencing the true alchemy of cacao & the heart.
DAY 2 : BONFIRE, CANTO FLECHA, AND FIRE DANCE
On Day 2 , we turned up the heat with latin medicine songs by special musical guests Canto Flecha and ignited the sacred fires with a poetic dance performance by the mesmerizing Miel. United in accelerating the energy of love in a circle of togetherness, we stoked the playful curiosity of the inner child within us all, both young and old, and woke the dormant innocence that only movement and dance can heal and revive
DAY 3 : HUACHUMA DAY HIKE
On Day 3, a brave handful of us spent the day with Dustin Kyle Brookes as he led us on a transformational healing journey with freshly harvested medicine straight from our neighboring cactus forest Through the ceremonial space that Dustin created and the brilliant teacher of this grandfather plant medicine, self- love blossomed within and deep rest revitalized our souls.
DAY 4: HUNI KUIN LAND BLESSING
On Day 4 , we were humbled & honored to have the Elders of the Huni Kuin people from the Western Amazon of Brazil come to Dharma to hold a land blessing, a song circle, and a rapé tobacco ceremony for the community. It was truly a magical mystical evening, filled with sacred prayers, traditional songs, and powerful connection to spirit. As the Huni Kuin would say it was "só alegria" , only joy.
Blessed and grateful to all the family and friends who came out to support us in prayer, song and celebration of our beloved Nosara community!
Stay tuned for more community events on the horizon.
