Orpheus Island is one of our #SPAITGIRL Favourite Luxury Spa Island Destinations Orpheus Island is a Tropical Island Paradise in Northern Queensland, Australia it's a one of kind and you have to see it to believe it.

PARADISE Orpheus Island is a Luxury Island and it's one of our all time favourite Australian Destinations, Located 80kms north of Townsville in Northern Queensland, Australia. It's only a 30 minute Helicopter Flight with Nautilus Aviation from the Townsville Airport.
You know when you are taking off to some very special place luxury destination when you have to travel in a private helicopter charter to get there. My Helicopter Pilot was Jackie from Nautilus Aviation
Jackie was amazing, and I felt so supported and safe during my helicopter flight to Orpheus Island and considering I am scared of heights travelling like this was absolutely fine and if I can do it anyone can do it.
The view whilst flying over to Orpheus Island was amazing all I could see was beautiful, turquoise water, little islands and mother nature at her best. Travelling to Orpheus Island in a Helicopter made me feel so excited, happy and alive and I truly loved it.

Landing at Orpheus Island was Awe Inspiring it was one of the most beautiful luxury secluded islands I had ever seen. When the Helicopter Landed, I was greeted by Chrissie the Assistant Manager who had the biggest happiest friendliest feel good smile and warm inviting energy and vibe. On arrival I received the warmest greeting ever that I felt so happy to land at Orpheus Island and to be staying there for the next couple of days. Orpheus Island is nestled on a secluded island on a National Park and it's surrounded by World Heritage-Listed Marine Park. When I looked around at the natural setting of Orpheus Island I was in awe with how beautiful the natural environment was as all I could see was palm trees, blue skies and then a beautiful infinity resort and a tropical bar and before I knew it by the time we stood admiring the beautiful luxury infinity pool I was been offered a Welcome Sparkling Drink from another amazing Orpheus Island staff member who had the biggest Feel Good Smile also the Positive Feel Good Vibes were radiating at all all time high. I have to admit I couldn't wipe the smile off my face and I was so happy that I choose to visit and feature Orpheus Island and follow my Spa it Girl Travel Dream of sharing my favourite Luxury Spa Destinations. After we chose our Welcome Drink we did a Heartfelt Toast to our Happy Orpheus Island Arrival. Then it was time to sit down in one of their comfy lounge chairs in their beautiful open luxury resort area. I shared a Welcome Drink with a couple a couple of other guest's who had travelled all the way from overseas Denmark to visit Orpheus Island and at the point I was really happy and proud because I love our beautiful country too and especially how we had just landed at Orpheus Island one of the worlds's secluded hideaways on the Great Barrier Reef that only accommodates up to 28 indulged guests at any one time. Whilst sitting there looking around at how beautiful the Orpheus Island Resort I felt instantly present and that I was a million miles away. It was an instant feel good mood booster and my feel good endorphins defintiely kicked in without any exercise required.
Chrissie who is the Assistant General Manager was so lovely and down to earth and I felt that even though I was were staying at a high end secluded luxury island resort that I was allowed to simply be myself, I felt really comfortable and at total ease, highly welcomed and at home. Orpheus Island might be a luxury island however it still offers a very relaxed, laid back, calming, feel, which was just what I needed after such a full on couple of months with work and all of my projects I had on the go, plus life in general for me is always go, go, god. I felt a deep sense of relaxation on arrival at Orpheus and this was thanks to the beautiful natural setting, the luxe resort setting, the staff and the fact that it was a private island so not overcrowded but instead it felt like my own private island and haven. The Orpheus Staff definitely made my arrival all about ME or their guests which I love
Whilst sitting down enjoying our welcome drink we got given the low down on all the things that Orpheus Island had to offer and there was so much to pick and choose from. They also had a notice board right next to their tropical dining and lounge bar area and from there you can see when it's high tide or low tide and from there you know when it's best to do the water activities also. Orpheus island offers so many water activities everything from Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Sailing, Kayaking Single or Double, Fishing Trips, Diving and Snorkelling Experiences. You can even take our your own motorised dinghy and discover a another near by private bay, which is perfect for going a romantic picnic and if you ask the Chef they will prepare a picnic hamper to take with you. Whilst staying I choose to go snorkelling and that was truly one of the most amazing experiences ever, I also did stand up paddle boarding and so much more. PAGE 8| SPA IT GIRL MAGAZINE

Orpheus Island has a Spa on site so naturally I couldn't wait to be a Spa it Girl on Orpheus Island as I love visiting Luxury Spa Destinations and the Spa when staying. I was greeted by the Orpheus Island Spa Manager and Therapist and she had a real passion for all things Spa, Yoga, Wellness and Orpheus Island and all of their Spa Clients which I really loved. I also loved how I was going to be having a relaxation spa massage outside beachside because when I arrived all I could see was the beautiful white sandy beach, lined with palm trees, the crystal clear water and it was blue skies and sunshine and knowing that I was staying at one of Australian Best Luxury Spa Island Destinations had me so Spa it Girl excited. Orpheus Spa used LI'TYA a Pure Australian Botanicals Spa Care from the Australian Dreamtime and it felt so soft and smooth on. LI'TYA is one of Australia's Most Spiritual Spa Philosophy and Spa Products you could ever use as it's based on Aboriginal Dreamtime tradition, culture and rituals and designed to re-connect your mind, body, and soul. It was Summer Time at Orpheus Island but because my massage bed was undercover I didn't feel hot and bothered in any way. Because Orpheus Island is a private setting with no more than 28 guests at any one time I felt totally safe and like I had full privacy even though I was outdoors having a beachside massage. When my massage started the first thing I noticed was the amazing quality of the massage oil all I could think was WOW this massage oil is the best I loved it.
My spa therapist had amazing hands and she had a beautiful soothing massage flow and rhythm. When I was having my spa treatment I could feel and smell the fresh ocean breeze on my skin and scents of the LI'TYA massage oil my Spa Therapist was using. When it came to the Spa Music it was naturally coming from Mother Earth and all I could hear was the water lapping up onto the beach, the birds chirping and other living things. When it was time for my relaxing massage to end of course I didn't want it to end. However when I go off the table I felt so relaxed and at peace within and I felt like my spa treatment at Orphues Island was a truly authentic Australian Natural Spa experience and one of a kind. Orpheus Island Spa offer so many other Spa treatments and also you can book to have a Spa Treatment if you wish when you stay at Orpheus Island it's all about you, so you get to choose what kind of Spa setting you would like. I love also how the Spa Treatment is much more of a one on one experience as it's a private island spa retreat you don't have to worry about sitting in a Spa waiting room with a whole lot of other people. Everything at Orphues Island is about privacy, relaxing and unwinding and I have to say I am so blessed that my amazing photographer Narelle Delle Baite was able to capture this Luxury Spa it Girl Orpheus Island moment. It really was one of the most memorable luxury Australian spa treatment and island experiences.

Orpheus Island is like no other. It's a one of a kind. Orpheus Island have the amazing Infinity Pool which is lined with day beds and beach unmbrellas with staff waiting to serve you it was one of my favourite places to spend time at whilst staying. I absolutely loved it in the pool and poolside and it truly was my Happy place. The view was beautiful. I also loved relaxing in their hammocks also that was another favourite spot for me. They also have so many places to sit relax and have a drink from comfy lounge chairs, to more hanging baskets and let's not forget your own private sanctuary and room. Orpheus Island is designed for you to relax and unwind to let go and anything you need the staff will assist and get for you. It's R&R at it's Best.

It's a Luxury Bath Experience One of the things I love to do when I go on a Holiday is spend time relaxing in a bath. I was super excited when I took a look at my room as I discovered that I had my own private outdoor bath setting and I had my very own private above ground bath which was next level amazing because I was able to fill it up every day and relax in mother nature and it was like my own Spa it Girl Self Care Wellness Retreat. Whilst on Holiday's you might go for the option to fill the bath tub up with warm water and then soak in that, like always as the founder of Spa it Girl and a Spa Blogger at heart I opted to create a little bit of Spa it Girl Orpheus island Bath Time Instagram Magic and that involved filling up my bath tub with beautiful fresh rose petals. My special occasion was celebrating how taking a flower bath at Orpheus or any kind of bath their can make you feel good and happy from within and that you are nurtured and loved.
