MS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
The core curriculum of this program emphasizes computer science fundamentals, while a wealth of electives allows you to tailor your degree to your professional goals and interests in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, information visualization, machine learning and AI, graphics, game engineering, responsible computing, algorithms, and web search technology.
BRIDGE PROGRAM
Students with a passion for coding who hold an undergraduate degree in a field outside of computer science may enter the MS program by taking a series of non-credit “bridge courses.” These courses provide a solid foundation of knowledge for completing a computer science degree.
PHD IN COMPUTER SCIENCE
As part of our robust, growing program, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in our top-notch laboratories and share our fierce commitment to innovation. You’ll join students from around the world with degrees from top universities to continue our strong research in data management and analysis, machine learning, cybersecurity, computer game engineering, visualization, theoretical computer science, computer vision and image processing, web search, and graphics.
MS IN CYBERSECURITY
This program will equip you with the skills needed to defend vital computer networks and electronic infrastructures against attacks and secure sensitive data stored in the digital universe from malicious interests. We are able to offer a specialization in cyber operations as one of just 20 institutions designated by the National Security Agency as a National Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations.
NY CYBER FELLOWS
NYU Tandon’s NY Cyber Fellows program is an affordable, part-time, online MS in Cybersecurity program. Created in partnership with New York City Cyber Command, this degree features a curriculum designed in cooperation with elite corporate partners. NY Cyber Fellows offers scholarships covering as much as 75 percent of tuition to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
MS IN CYBERSECURITY RISK AND STRATEGY*
This program is designed to provide emerging leaders with an extensive and strategic understanding of the role cyber risk management plays in the success of an organization. In this joint offering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the NYU School of Law, your studies will follow an interdisciplinary approach to computer science, law, policy, and business. Ideal for experienced professionals from varied backgrounds, this flexible program incorporates online and on-campus course formats.
MS IN EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
A fully online master’s degree with knowledge areas in wireless, cybersecurity, innovation and change management, robotics, data science, machine learning and AI, user experience and design, urban informatics, and software engineering.
