MS IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING
Launch improvements in telecommunications, networks, and microelectronics by learning the principles underlying the design and integration of computer components and systems. Required courses include, but are not limited to, Introduction to VLSI, System Design, and Computer Architecture I. Explore careers in circuit design, cybersecurity, and software applications.
MS IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Build in-demand technology skills for practicing engineering at an advanced level in business, industry, or government; continuing studies at the PhD level; or pursuing innovation as an entrepreneur. PHD IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

RUTHIE LYLE-CANNON Electrical Engineering, PhD ’98
A prolific inventor, Ruthie holds more U.S. patents than any other African American woman in history. She has thrived utilizing the skills she learned at NYU Tandon, spending more than 15 years at IBM, and in her current role as a lead research engineer with the United Services Automobile Association.

Electrical Engineering Professor
Theodore (Ted) Rappaport is the founding director of NYU WIRELESS, the first academic research center for engineering, computer science, and medicine. He co-developed technologies currently used in wireless networks and now conducts groundbreaking research for cellular devices of the future.
