: AN ESSENTIAL PAIR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMER SEA TERM Seeing the world is one of the most memorable study abroad experiences for SUNY Maritime students. If you are pursuing a license, you will spend a summer term aboard our training ship visiting diverse international ports while learning to operate a vessel.
STUDY ABROAD Our training ship isn’t the only way to gain international experience. For students not pursuing a license, our study abroad program allows you to learn the principles of global trade while visiting countries such as Portugal and Romania. You can also enroll in one of the 1,000 study abroad programs available through the SUNY system.
