Youth Holistic Health Summit

Now, more than ever, young people are taking charge of our own health, education, and careers, searching for a clear understanding of ourselves and our impact. While there are a thousand different ways to do this, Muscle Response Testing (MRT)/Specialized Kinesiology (SK) is an untapped and versatile one.
Maybe this is the first time you’ve heard of Muscle Response Testing, but you’re studying to be a chiropractor or acupuncturist, nutritionist or physical therapist. Maybe you’re just interested in human anatomy and emotions, or are studying a different aspect of health. Perhaps you have heard of Specialized Kinesiology before — you’ve had a session with a practitioner or have even taken a course. Whatever the case, this event is organized and run by young SK instructors for anyone aged 14-24 who is interested in gaining some insight into their own health, helping others, or pursuing a career in natural wellness.
A NEW KIND OF CONFERENCE
The Specialized Kinesiology community has held innumerable conferences worldwide for practitioners and instructors over the past 50 years, but these all assume you have a certain amount of knowledge and experience coming in.
This year we wanted to do something a little different and include — no, encourage — the people who need these tools most and who are the future of the industry, to attend. We’ve also changed up the format to make it more engaging. Presentations are a little shorter, breaks are more fun and, for the first time, the young people in the field are the stars of the show.
We aim to achieve this through two days of virtual presentations, panel discussions, activities, and breakouts with some of the inspiring youth of the SK world, and our handpicked mentors to offer techniques, advice, and a sense of community.
A NEW KIND OF PROGRAM
In 2022 we are launching GEMS College of Energy Medicine. One of the features of the school is the inclusion of Element Pathways to help people find which classes they want, create community, and give them a mentor to touch base with as they progress. Along with the Elements, we have created a Youth Program. The Youth Program is specially designed for students who are looking for tools to assist in self care and to make learning easier. These classes can help with emotional regulation and stress release. This path can also set the foundation for a career in the holistic health field; offering training as a practitioner and/or instructor of basic muscle response testing techniques. The Summit and the Youth Program are created and facilitated by a team of young adults who have been successfully using these tools for years. These are tools that have made our lives easier and we are turning those skills into new careers. We want to be able to share these concepts and skills with our peers. We are offering Touch for Health, TFH Goal Setting and Metaphors and GEMS Flow classes aimed specifically at a younger audience. I hope this helps students feel more confident in class so their needs can be met.
Please join us this month for our Grand Opening and for the Youth Holistic Health Summit!
