There is no greater feeling than using your unique talents and passions to serve others and make a meaningful difference. While volunteering at Janus Developmental Services, you get to do just that! With a variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities, you are sure to find a perfect match for your skills and interests.

 

By becoming a Janus volunteer, you will immerse yourself in the joy and fun of our community. Our program participants always appreciate seeing volunteers joining us. Whether you prefer reading to a group, engaging in games, leading dance or fitness classes, taking part in art projects, tending to our gardens, or serving coffee – there is a role that is perfect for you! A recent addition to our volunteer options is the Janus Coffee Bar, which has quickly become a highlight of the week for everyone. Coffee Bar takes place every Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with all the necessary supplies provided. Just show up, serve coffee, and mingle with the Janus community! 

 

Through your service, you will make valuable connections with our program participants. Our volunteers often share that their time spent at Janus is as rewarding for them as it is for the program participants. The friendships that blossom and the smiles that are shared create a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. If you have a specific skill or interest that you would like to share, we are always open to new ideas and initiatives. Your unique contributions can help us expand our programs and offer even more opportunities to those we serve.
