Review of Patient Shwr Track

Page 1

Track needs to stay on the inside of the orange line, representing the Lift Rail.

Alan lets try to get it closer to the light fixture; that will make the radius bigger.

ZGF is pleased with this type of track. You are released to manufacture this type of track for the Patient Bathrooms.

The track needs to run parallel to the wall instead of angling into the wall, per ZGF.

Alan: Below is the summary of the shower track from Sellen and ZGF. Note the location of the patient lift rail; the track also needs to run parallel to the wall at the opposite side of the patient rail end. We will review this summary prior to starting work for the shower track. DP 4-12-12

1. The track needs to run inside the Orange line, as that represents where the Lift Rail will be located.€ I will get you shop drawings of the lift rail so you know how wide the rail is. 2. I highlighted the track in green so show the new alignment of where the track needs to go, more or less. 3. On the return of the track, the end closest to the entrance, needs to run parallel to the wall.€ Currently, the track is angled so it runs into the wall.€ This is important as this will be visible to the users and it needs to be straight.€ So, you may have to recalculate the angle a bit in order to get a straight track running parallel to the wall. Question: Will a 20GA strap metal backing be adequate?€ Please confirm.
