Tremiti Islands are experiencing depopulation and decay, resulting in a sense of melancholy, nostalgia, peace and relief.
I focused on conveying the emotional weight of the stories of the locals and the current state of the place, while also highlighting the resilience and hope of the community that calls these islands “home”.
This is where landscape and documentary photography converge in portraying a sense of place and atmosphere.

“Ars longa, vita brevis”
Born and raised in Foggia, first he graduated in engineering, then he attended a management training programme in Real Estate. After various work experiences he decided to focus completely on photography and moved to Paris to study Creative Documentary and Photojournalism at Spéos with Magnum Photos.
Strongly influenced by his previous studies, whether they are portraits or Corporate jobs, now his style is rigorous and descriptive with an eye trained to recognize new trends adapting them to his vision.
