Wri$ng this introduc$on feels like summarizing a whirlwind of emo$ons and experiences. My $me in Paris this year has been unforge>able and ﬁlled with signiﬁcant moments.

Firstly, my experience at SPEOS has been life-changing. Leaving my job in China was not an easy choice, but diving into photography has conﬁrmed my passion for photography. Every lesson and skill learned has made me more determined to do photography permanently.

Also, the upcoming Olympic Games hold special meaning for me as a photographer. Since 2017, I started to photograph the journeys of gymnasts aiming for Olympic glory, and this is my start and passion for becoming a photographer. It's a tough road for them, and not everyone can make it to their dream. But as a photographer, I'm glad and honored that I am in Paris now to share their stories of resilience as they chase their Paris Olympic dreams.

I am incredibly grateful to ﬁnd myself in Paris during this special $me, as it may mark a turning point in my life and my original aspira$on to become a photographer.
