Those getting rosettes (and £10 Spice credit) were: Anne Greenwood, Roger Cunningham, Jem Gotch, Veronica Shilton, Skye Loudon, Steve Millington, Sarah Harris, Jane Neary, Julie Crosby, Lee Hession, Marie-Anne Byrne, Bernard Robinson, Heather Morton & Christine Rowley. Thanks to everyone who supported this competition and helped raise £658 for Autism West Midlands.

Well, as any school child can tell you, the answer is “a stick!” However, if you add a little yellow muscle to the mix you get the annual JCB Mud Run! Last week, 20 of us were guests at JCB and had the pleasure of discovering how this iconic Staffordshire company are still flourishing after 60 years of making their famous range of diggers. In passing, our guide also mentioned their charity work for NSPCC which Lady Bamford is very involved with. My ears pricked up when he described the annual JCB Mud Run where teams compete for fun to cover 5 muddy miles including lots of obstacles carved out of the Staffordshire countryside by their trusty yellow machines. “We’ll have some of that” thought I, so it is in the programme complete with video links HERE So if you’re around on July 5th and fancy something dirty and decidedly different, then join “Team Spice” for some serious fun in the muck!
