What the Corgis Saw! One of our more unusual events this May is a talk by a man who lived & worked in the Royal Household. Prof. Dr Roland Rotherham was at Buckingham Palace during the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s. He is a very entertaining speaker and promises a rare insiders glimpse of Royalty, accompanied by some slides from his photograph collection. Roly is quick witted and not always as discrete as Her Majesty might like so expect a fun night! Click HERE
When we heard that Europe’s biggest zipwire was coming to a Welsh quarry this year, I thought “we’ll have some of that!” So the negotiations started and we now have our first date to try it out for real (and judging by the speed of bookings we’ll have more dates to follow!) It does mean getting to North Wales, however, your journey is rewarded by a 3 hour experience that includes 2 zipwires (“Little Zipper” & “Big Zipper”) and a tour/ summit ascent by truck. The highlight is a 1 mile zipwire that transports you 500 feet above the dramatic Welsh scenery at speeds approaching 100mph, flying like Superman! Now isn’t that exactly what you joined Spice for? To read more and view YouTube clips of what’s in store, click HERE Claire and I plus Dave Smith from Spice UK and Lauren from Spice Manchester have already booked! So if you are fighting a serious adrenaline addiction, why not let “Big Zipper” be your undoing! As ever, this Bulletin is designed to give you a quick overview of what is happening this week in Spice. “Anything in blue - should click through”.
