This was the picture that I had but was not able to save correctly but you said it was ok because you saw it. This is a picture of my brother that is in front of a white background and color adjusted. I used adjustment layers and selection tools to make this image.

The Designer on Track! Meet The Designer - Nick Jobes Nick Jobes is a freshman at Oak Grove High School, who likes to create new things, experiment with new ideas, and he loves trains. This is why you will find that a lot of trains in his freelance work.

Here's some of his work!

"Crawler Image"

Crawler Image - This crawler image was made by duplicating myself in the picture, and as you can see, I had to change up the lighting a little to match with the lighting in the photo. Then I marquee selected part of my body, free transformed it, and stretched it out. I also had to fix the lighting on the body stretch as well. Final result may not look as good, but it was cool to be working with the lighting adjustments, though.

"Double Exposure"

"Designer's Choice" Designer's Choice - Now this here is my favorite picture that I have edited so far. So what I did was that I found a picture from the old Thomas the Tank Engine TV show, and I blurred the background, desaturated the picture, worked on the temperature and vibrance a bit, and used custom shapes (Squares and lines) for the picture border. Now the attempt I was going for was to make a Thomas train picture look like an old, vintage railroad train photo from around the 1800's and 1900's, and I think my attempt was successful.

Double Exposure - Now for the double exposure, I had to use different layers to fit the background, myself, and the trees inside there. Cool fun fact: those trees are in my neighborhood that I can see from my backyard. Anyways, when it came to mixing both images in, I had to lower down the transparency on my self-portrait in order for me and the trees to appear at the same time.

Before and After - Now for the before and after, I got the original photo of myself, duplicated it, and edited the copy. What I did on the copy was that I improved the lighting, used a healing brush to get rid of skin freckles and smooth down wrinkles on my shirt, and I put the two picture side by side to make sure people notice the differences.

"Before and After" "Color Splash" Misplaced Item - So I did a bunch of stuff for this picture. I just took a picture of a LEGO Harry Potter set that I had, then I edited in one of my trains and the Hogwarts train nameplate on it. And lastly, I edited one of my cars into the picture, used a magic wand to help paint the roof white, and then I also adjusted the lighting on both the train and the car. Color Splash - For the color splash, I got a picture of one of my Thomas trains that was originally in color, duplicated it, applied a layer mask, desaturated the duplicate, and used a magic wand and the eraser to help brink Thomas into color, so it could stand out from the black and white background.

"Misplaced Item"

"Awkward Image"

Awkward Image - So this is basically like layer masking, but the pictures are making a "smooth transition". How I did this was that I opened up one picture in one layer, and the second picture in the next. Then, I put in a layer mask on the top picture and started erasing part of it. As the two pictures were being mixed together, I had to increase the softness on the eraser to make that "smooth transition". I have to say now, "Not bad, but maybe do a bit better next time" on this image.

My Photo Project

21

Over the past month, my class and I have been working on a photography project for our Adobe Visual Design class.

36

48

This is called a double exposure photo. It is where you take a profile photo of yourself and a landscape and combine it using layer masks and painting away and repainting parts of your image to make it more trasparent.

My Name Is Riley I am a student at Oak Grove High School. Over the last month or so my class and I have been working on a photography project in our Adobe Visual Design class. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Don't read all the way down it is pointless.

36. This is my awkward image. To do this I very tediously selected a car and pasted it onto a stock image of a lady in the street using quick selection and lasso tools. I then selected the girl sitting on the road and copied moved the copy layer and moved it on top of the car layer so that she would be in front of the car. I then blurred the car to make it look like it was driving fast down the road. 48. This is the crawler image we did. To achieve this affect, I copied the car and started liquefying it until I got my desired image.

21. This is my color splash photo. I took a picture of my dog and I changed the pixel colors to black and white, and then selecting her to change the color of her. I did this by clicking Hue and Saturation and changing the color.

By: Riley Harmon

SPILLVENGERS 1

For this design I took my teacher's head and his daughter and pasted it onto the Avengers. To accomplish this task, I used tools like the quick selection tool, the lasso tool, layer masks, and paint brush tool to make this design come to life.

MISPLACED ITEM 2

If we are creating ourselves all the time, then it is never too late to begin creating the bodies we want instead of the ones we mistakenly assume we are stuck with, said Deepak Chopra.Â

COLOR SCHEME 3

I ran out of ideas so I took a picture of my computer and recolored the screen and the desk. That's really it nothing special.

DESIGNS

This is the first ever image I have photoshoped and I didn't us much. All I used was the brush tool and quick selection tool to remove sanic´s hand.

This image is my favorite out of all because carnage is my favorite villain of all time. I didn't use much to make this all I did was use the quick selection and then filled in the colors with the fill option.

This one took me a little bit to do but I think it came out good. Not much was needed to make this, all I needed was the quick selection and lasso tool to cut out what I didn't need. Just so you know the raven is the chicken in the picture

This is a color splash I made of Wall-e. All that was needed was the quick selection tool, black and white filter, and the he and saturation filter to change the colors.

This is another one of my favorites because I was able to change what my mask looks like. I used the quick selection tool to shape out my mask and then created a layer mask to add a picture of me onto my mask.

AMONG US

This is the latest picture that I have made. I used multiply tools to make this image. First i used the brush tool to make the black character look like he is any impostor. Next I used the healing brush to remove the knife that was in the black character´s head. After that I used the dodge tool to make the light from the center seem like it´s shining on all the characters. After that I used Here is a little about me the clone stamp to remove the ship that was in My name is Braxdon and I love the background to make the image focus more on working with Photoshop because I the characters. Finally I used the eyedropper tool can do whatever I want with a to fix the spot where the light wasn't shining to photo and no one can say ¨You did make it look more natural. it wrong¨. I thought to myself the first time I opened Photoshop ¨there is no way I can remember But thanks to my amazing teacher Mr. Spillman I can navigate myself through Photoshop with what all these tools do.¨ ease.

By Jose Carrillo Double Exposure

For this 1 I did a picture of Bryson and a picture of Niagara Falls. I put them together and made this. I also did the transparency levels.

Crawler Image

I did Hudson for this image. I liquefied him to look like this and it came out pretty dope.

Awkard Image

For this I did a picture of Mr. Spillman face and bald head. I put the 2 images together and made a smooth tranision.

DESIGNERS CHOICE For this 1 I decided to do the "Original Gangsta" Meme. I put the pix-elated hat, sunglasses, and necklace on Mr. Spillman. Also I put a "Tatto"

Color Splash

For this 1 i did a old picture of me as a kid kicking a soccer ball. I made the background black and white and changed the Hue and Saturation of myself to look pink.

BALANCE YOU PHOTOS HI I am Allie and I crated these pictures to test my skills and learn how to edit photos.

THE COOL SHOES For this project I had to make everything but one object or area black and white. I chose to make my shoes a different color. I made them lime green because it stands out to the eye. I used the quick-selection tool mostly because i had to select the areas that I wanted lime green and the areas i wanted black and white.

THE IM INVISIBLE I really liked this project because It was cool how i could put trees inside of me. I used the brush tool the most to make the picture look naturally and not that noticeable that it was edited. But this one was fun to create

THE HAPPY DEER I think this one is my favorite. Its funny and cool at the same time. I want to make a funny picture but creative picture so i choose this. Everyone else was doing things where they would put someones face on a different body but i wanted to be creative. So I used the Ctrl ¨X¨ and ¨d¨to transfer the images to the other pictures. I used the quick selection to select the necklance because it has so many holes in it.

BALANCE YOU PHTOS There are dozens of types of whole grains. here are some of the most common ones.

THE CHRLI RAPPER This one was kinda just to see what I remember. I took charli face on a rapper brush to see what it would look like cause they are both opposites so i wanted to see what it be. I have to use the brush tool to make the lines on the side of the face, fine. I also had to take her face and position it right were I wanted it.

THE DRIVING ON WATER I really liked the idea of something driving on water so I took pictures of my dads brush to show a truck driving on water. I had to use the brush tool to make the pictures blend in well and look natural but eventually I got it.

THE GOOD MEMORY PIC This one is just funny. I like this because its my sister and I could edit funny picture of her. I used the brush tool also to kinda give that fade effect. It kinda looks like a thought bubble like shes thinking of that picture. This one was pretty simple just a few steps you have to follow.
